Why in the hell would you sign a receiver that is old and can’t make the sea chickens?
Seriously people, you do not know football. TO is DONE.

I think Plaxico would help the Falcons get to the SUPER BOWL. Can you imagine 6:5 Plaxico with this receiving corps. ut it is just wishful thinking, the Falcons are too conservitive, they rarely go after game changers.

T.O., like Chad, are NOT team players. They do more harm than good. If their attitude was better, much better, then maybe give them an opportunity to prove themselves. Otherwise, stay away from bad apples!

We need to get some “true” Falcon fans on this blog. The people on here are clueless about football and what it takes to be a champion. TO, Plaxico, Portis and VY would not be able to help this talented and well coached Falcons team. Why would you want old players with discipline issues.

Flacons never learn must be T.O., he couldn’t beat out those scrubs in Seattle and T.O. has always lead the league in drops even when he was good.

Players on Falcons that worry me, Sam Baker – injury prone hasn’t proven anything, Ray Edwards – no pass rush, Thomas DeCoud – can hit, but can’t cover get’s lost in coverage, Peria Jerry – has to play as expected with no Corey Peters, Akeem Dent – wasn’t that great at Georgia, can he play at the level Lofton did???

It’s all about the O-Line.
This Team is set up to throw a lot & hopefully score a lot.
If the offense is doing what is expected, then everything falls in line.
The Saints haven’t had a dominant defense, but their offense puts pressure on other teams to keep up, then mistakes happen.
As shaky as Matty Ice can be at times, we’re doomed with Davis or Redmon taking snaps.

Yeah!!! Let’s sign Ochocinco and Randy Moss, too!!! Why don’t we see if Jerry Rice would come out of retirement?

O-line is the key to our success. If Matt is given the time to go down field to Jones, that really opens up the middle for Gonzo and Douglass. White is always a threat. If Matty does go down during the season, I would rather have Davis filling in, instead of Redman, because of his ability to stretch out the play with his running ability, because of a shaky O-line. With every other game is on the road the Falcons are going to fill like they are on the road all the time. This makes schedule very tough, but I have high hopes for a return to the playoffs, and getting a playoff win. If we do that we might not be stopped!

Really like Toons! Hope he makes the team. Good hands and outstanding speed! I too feel that Atlanta could use another running back. Also would like to see Snelling and Smith used more often.

Wish Cory Peters the very best and hope he gets back on the field soon. I really think Jerry will do a good job and give great effort this season.

I am somewhat concern about the overall performance of the Falcons in the pre-season but feel they will get it going in the regular season. My biggest concerns are the opposition third down conversions and the running game, but ?

Why not get TO I mean they are giving the number 4 job to a receiver who I have yet to see catch a ball (Kerry Meire) What the hell has he done besides keep the trainers busy.

Who do the Falcons have to replace Corey Peters? Haven’t you been watching Peria Jerry? He is a beast! He penetrates deep into the backfield on nearly every play… and quickly! As long as he stays healthy, he will be a force and a very capable backup for Peters. I wish Peters well in his recovey as we need his strength too but it is SO NICE to have Jerry firing on all 8 cylinders like we hoped he would. Finally, we have enough depth at D-Line to sustain such an injury (which is bound to happen). That is what makes this team BETTER than it was last year. GO FALCONS!
