Atlanta Falcons: A couple of fights breakout
FLOWERY BRANCH — There were two fights during practice on Monday after the team went all of training camp with only one minor scuffle.
On consecutive plays wide receiver Tim Toone and cornerback Peyton Thompson came to blows followed by a fight between offensive tackle Tyson Clabo and defensive tackle Micanor Regis. Toone lost his helmet in the tussle.
“We broke camp yesterday and I don’t know but everyone went home and came back in a bad mood,” Smith joked about the incidents.

Coach needs to set some rules or drop the hammer down, getting mad at practice ? 15 yard penalties and getting tossed out the game wont win games either if they made the team

A little fighting on the practice field shows they are fired up. That’s a good thing. If I lost my last playoff game without scoring an offensive point, I’d be fired up too and ready to start the new season. Let’s hope they take that fight to the field.

People think fighting in camp is a bad thing…not in football in most case’s one of you is going to get good and the other is is going to get better anger show’s your weakness and that’s what coaches watch for in most fights.The point is if you can carry that anger that with after practice and pit it back up with the same intensity where you left off …you’re first string but if you’re fighting because you got beat than you’re a waste of time in football everybody get beat some time. Keep on fighting but fight to be a winner.
