So, how much are we actually going to use our middle LB? Seems like never on 3rd down, and we were playing a lot of nickel on 1st and 2nd down. And Spoon has the headset.
Hoping for a speedy recovery from Akeem, but Unc is more than capable of holding down the fort, especially for what we’re asking of him.

And the attack dogs have yet to make one comment on football… And they call other people trolls?
Peterson, wow!
Ledbetter, what did you think of the 2nd and 3rd units LBs in game 1 of pre-season?

The loss of Lofton might come back to haunt us! I don’t care if he is not a cover LB, he knows how to stop the run very well and he is 26 years old. Hopefully, the Falcons can expose him against the pass like so many other teams did to him the last four years. Get well soon Dent…, We need you. Led, have you heard any potential signings at LB?

The way it’s going, Dunta is next in line to share with Peterson at MLB. I have a feeling we may be waiting to see which MLB are going to be let go later when the teams have to pare down the rosters.

I am dissapointed………why not give Robert James and/or Pat Schiller a look against the Bengals first team offensive players. Robert James has looked pretty dang good the past couple of years at WLB and we all know Smitty loves to cross train his players for depth reasons. We are in serious trouble IF Peterson is the best MLB we have behind Dent. We need to know if these young players can contribute against the starting caliber NFL players……….is this not what the preseason games are really all about?? Peterson is too old and a little too slow…….he might be a great “coach on the field” but I think we need a better/younger player if Dent is not ready just yet (or worse meaning if Dent ends up with a long term injury of some sort).
I hope Dent develops into a superb player, but he looked like he was thinking too much when he was in the first preseason game (prior to being knocked unconscious). He got beat pretty bad by the WR dragging accross the middle on one play and he was too slow with his reaction time on most plays.
Looks like we might need to sign a LT and a MLB if any really good players get cut in the next couple of weeks!!!!!!!!
