It’s a good thing the Falcons are fortifying the lines. I hope this translates into some wins thins season! I’m pretty excited! Thanks for keeping us up-to-date DLed.

Go get Grady Jackson!

Way too little too late. The Falcons sold the farm to get a vastly overrated Julio Jones; then this year let their run defense go to the Saints. The only difference this year is that we’ll lost the 3rd and one on run plays instead of passes. Still no o-line and no defensive tackles nor middle linebackers are going to leave the Birds with a losing season.

Hmmm D Led…with his size….looks like we really are sticking with the 4-3 definitely. Before I opened this and read it, I was hoping it was a 6′2-6′3-350 guy to eat that A space eater like Grady Jackson that was eluded to earlier would be great and would make Abraham, Edwards, Biermann, and Weatherspoon so much better at their Thanks for the update though.

If the defense moves more towards a 3-4 look I could see the need for the 350 lb NT. The Falcons want a pass rushing D-line and 350 lb men don’t typically excel at the pass rush. He would be coming off the field every couple of plays for oxygen Lol. Sure there are guys who do it well (Ngata, Willfork) but God only makes a few of those and they are hard to find. Grady Jackson was a pure run stopper by the time he got to Atl.
Hey D any word on the Vance Walker injury. Usually undisclosed injuries for the Falcons means a guy is going on IR. Obi is more than likely just a camp body so don’t read too much into this signing. If Walker is out, Robertson may get the nod as the 4th DT.

We are in trouble on the DL, I also believe Corey Peters is hurt more than been disclosed. He was suppose to be back begining of training camp, now i’m hearing after training camp. Walker is not a star but he does well as a rotational player. This new DT stats are horrible so why are they putting it out like the birds made a great move.

Larry……itis quit clear that football is not your game. That post was ugly.

Looks like TD and the Birds should have drafted Thompson from Clemson in the 3rd instead of reaching for an injuried L. Holmes. This is not how you get far in the SUPER BOWL race!!!!!

Just so you know, “regret losing,” your made up word is a double negative. Failcan’t would mean “can’t fail.” Thank you. You’re right. The Falcons cannot fail!!!

@ FAILCANTS regret losing Lofton….fact…

To really know how bad it is, the aints can’t even get along with Lofton being one of their own wearing those stinkin ugly junior high varsity football uniforms in the pro level ! That team is a disgrace to the National Football League period and should be banned from the NFL for the Bountygate Corruption !
Breeze should be ashamed of his self for lying to cover up the Fiasco and been suspended as well !
Falcons Fly and aints crawl !

PADDY, Larry is still yet another classless sAINTS troll. Why don’t we try strongly supporting our team and Conrad Obi and anoint him “Obi-1″! :)

Obi is a DE turned DT. He can play either postion. 290 is light for a DT but not for a DE in a 3-4. He is ideal for a hybrid defense. More than likely he is training camp beef, unless he excels. If Nolan like smart guys he’ll love Obi.

I’m not liking Smitty’s way of keeping us in the dark on injuries. Maybe during the regular and post season, there might be some players you don’t want the opposing team to know if one of our best will be missing a game but we aren’t there yet. This is preseason and we want to know how the injuries are to Grimes, Walker and Peters and I’m sure there will be others.

Larry seems to think the world is coming to an end. Maybe he should stick to Olympic (NBA all-star) basketball and stay with the sure thing.
