Falcons single-game tickets go on sale July 27

The Falcons will put  single-game tickets for the 2012 season on sale Friday, July 27 at 10 a.m.

Single-game tickets, ranging from $55-150, can be purchased online at www.atlantafalcons.com/tickets or at www.ticketmaster.com.  Tickets can also be ordered by phone via Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. To purchase tickets in person, fans may go to metro-Atlanta Ticketmaster outlets.

Falcons season-ticket holders will receive the first opportunity to purchase extra single-game tickets in an online pre-sale beginning July 25. Season-ticket holders will receive an email with a special code and instructions prior to that date.

According to the Falcons, ticket availability for non season-ticket holders for games against the Broncos, Cowboys, Saints and Giants is very limited.

They will be sold out after the sale… no one sells out games strictly to season ticket holders.

Every seat in the Mercedes Benz Superdome has been sold out to season ticket holders, for years, except for the nominal ones that are held in reserve for opposing teams. (Some teams have real fans.)

Did they put a bounty on the fans to make them purchase the seats Seen? LOL!!!!!

It’s ok “SeenThisB4″, keep singing that song when the Falcons annihalate the Saints this year!

The Falcons will be showing Payton & Co “Who ‘Dat” is that just schooled him…

True, some teams also have “real” coaches that don’t put bounties….

This is too funny! Go and try to buy a single game Bears/Packers/Giants ticket… See what you get back… Count your blessing that their will be some, well except for the third quarter of certain playoff games… What was that chant again? “Go Pack, Go!”

Seen B4, is the view from your room in your parent’s basement so dismal that the only light you see is when you can insult the Falcons? We can all understand an occasional dig, but when it is so constant one has to wonder, do you have a life at all? Taking pride in your team is one thing, but thinking that since you cheer for a team with a better record somehow makes you more powerful or better is really sad. Are your lifetime achievements so petty that someone elses success is the only thing you can hang you hat on? Good luck with your future, I hope your GED come soon and the offers for your advancement pour in.

@Tom, in case you haven’t heard, Payton wll be taking a sabbatical this year.
@Rick, they didn’t put a bounty to make us buy those season tickets, BUT I paid a hell of bounty to be able to renew them. It’s incredible how much these tickets cost nowadays! Though, they’re worth every penny! I guess your fans just don’t think the falcan’ts are worth it and I can’t blame them. When you can only muster 2 pts in a playoff game, not to mention the 0 for 3 record, who’d want to sit through that? Anyway, I’m sure our fans will be scooping up what tickets you guys spurn for the game between our two teams, so that will be a sure sell out.

sorry this is a college football town…..the only reason people go to falcons game is because your hung over from athens the day before and you can buy beer there…..well i guess if your a tech fan this would be your opportunity to see a team actually win a game and to have more than 23 fans in the stadium at one time…4 hotdogs 4 cokes 4 programs and a oil change and tire rotation for $40//

Does anybody here know if the NFL teams get an allotment of tickets for road games? I have 3 buddies going to the UGA-Missouri game and then we want to go to the Falcons-Kansas City game the next day. Can we buy tix from the Falcons or do we have to buy tix from Kansas City or some other source? Thanks

SmellThisB4 there are always plenty of tickets available for any Saints game. I’m been to the superdump several times for Falcon-Taint games. Your fans are mostly made up of front runners who only recently started buying tickets, but you do have the tainted SB.

Seen you still harping on last year? Wow man, catch up cha cha. How about you pay one of the best QB’s in the game before you talk? You speak of having a franchise yet you wont pay the franchise player? And when you finally make a decision to pay him, all of the other Free Agents will see you guys wont and dont take care of your own…………..SAD!!!! TRAGIC!!!! LOL. Come on man!!! And you want to talk about last year………..lets do it! Falcons did not win the Super Bowl last year you are correct, but if memory serves me correct (help me out here) you guys went out in the in the first round also after scoring alot of points. So did not help you AINTS to much now did it? HEHEHEHEHEH. Only one winner at the end of the year cha cha and it was not you AINTS!

There ain’t a #$%& thing “legitimate” about college football on the D-1 level! Ain’t Bill King missing a delusional acolyte? Y’all can start your crying about being left off by the “committee” when they start that made for TV “playoff!”

oh i forgot how great the nfl teams are well lets look at the last two champions…ny giants…record 9-7 and green bay 10-6…but ncaa has a made for tv playoff…please there is no great team’s here only a team that got luck the last few games of the season or the other teams they played were just as crappy…in your system remember 2007 stafford and the dawgs destroyed hawaii…we would of won a title that year for sure…but i’m the delusional one….ooooook i think there is gas leak in your fema trailer back to the bayou for you..choot em! retard!

@Rick: Since you asked me to help you out: You’re wrong, we went out in the second round last year, after we won the first playoff game. I’ll let you do the verification of that, it was your team that went out in the first round without scoring a single offensive point. They may not have won the championship, but they got a lot closer to it than you did, a lot closer.

all i am saying is the ncaa is much more legitimate than the nfl. consistently there champion is a undefeated or at most one loss team…the nfl is all about the luck of the draw…i am not saying that any ncaa team could beat a nfl team…well it is possible i guess but there is just no passion and intensity like college football.. it is all about the money like drew brees for example..he has refused the saints 19.5 million a year offer and will not report to training camp until he gets what he thinks he deserves a 20.5 million a year contract…i mean really…really take your ball and go home…you are crying over one million a year..the entire state of Louisiana is not worth one million dollars a your crying over that….why am i even debating this with you…shouldn’t you be out in your wife beater stiring the craw-fish pot or something..did you call in and not go to work today..jiffy lube misses you.

You mean “clown” argument? Thanks Bryce Harper! Every sport in the world decides it on the field, court, or arena, and excluding the fields for the NCAA big made for TV tourney and crime-time cartel in D-1 football where a “committee” picks and chooses!” You are “delusional” I don’t care for the present, past, or future of D-1 college football… You can have that fallacy, just like the fallacy of your “FEMA trailer cracks.” Now go give that money that you stole from some poor suckers for over-priced catfish to the UGA Athletic Foundation for some seats that you’ll leave in 3rd quarter the next time Bama, LSU, or Auburn run you out of the GA Dome in December!

Given the 2 point playoff game and limited offseason player moves, Falcons have a lot to prove before dome will sell out for games not involving the Saints or one of the Manning brothers. Fact is they have an unexciting product and play in an airplane hanger. The tickets are far from cheap and the real expense comes once you arrive- which by the way can take 90 minutes just from the downtown connector. For a 1pm game, my wife and I will leave Sandy Springs at 11:00am and will not get home until 7pm. Most of that time is spent in traffic or trying to exit the parking lot. We go to 3-4 games a year and spend around $400/game with 2 tickets, parking, beers, and food. We could get cheaper seats but why even go down there if you can’t see the plays. Bottom line is NFL attendance overall has been on the decline and Roger Goodell admitted they’re having difficulty competing with the HDTV experience at home where fans see the plays better, get replays, have wifi for scores and fantasy updates, drink their own beer, and can switch to a better game and can do other things once their game ends.

EVERY game, in EVERY stadium, with EVERY team playing, is available, at StubHub.com or on Craigs List. Let’s keep some perspective, folks.

Besides, Louisianaians save money by opting not to have dental care in lieu of Saints season tickets.
