I like that Spoon is getting more experienced and now that Lofton is gone, will be a leader on D. We need more vocals guys like him. Samuel will just add to that. I love the soundbite from Spoon on this highlight video @ 1:09. “Every Single Play…..Now get they A** off the field”

SeenB4, what’s your take on Samuel? I am excited about the energy and potential playmaking he will bring the team. I’ll take a Who Dat analysis on him, though.

tjhook -heres my whodat anaysis of the samuel acquisition. i think it was an upgrade to you secondary no doubt . i believe he was drafted in ‘03 so he ’s still got some gas left in the tank. not that he’s slow , but we’re all getting older , but losing a step or two with age will certainly be made up for with experience . if van goiter was still there , he wouldn’t know how to utilize him but the new d.c. has got to be smarter than van goiter and will allow him to teach the younger cb’s the tricks of the trade much like how we utilized darren sharper. who knows , he may be able to turn dunta into a secondary guy instead of a spectator on the field . overall though , it was a good pick up . should make teams want to run a bit more against you and the only teams who will benefit from that are teams with , say , a 4 running back rotation and an mvp type qb who can manipulate defenses ’till they get what they want and then BAM next play is the extra point

no he lives in n.o. and i live in… guess . i’ve never met him but tried when i was there in feb and for a preseason game last year . think he was going to houston. thanks norm , i guess some idiot had alot of fun over the weekend and if i was dol , i ban him but you know how that goes .
