D led how about a little insight into some of our FA ’s out there. Thoughts?

The only piece of useful information here was about to come at the very end, when some one asked, “Anybody that stood out to you?” But before Smitty could answer someone turned the tape off. Do you know what the answer was?
May 14th, 20127:07 am
The Saints wrapped up their rookie minicamp as well, puttting in 5 full practices, with some “impressive” performances by several of the draftees and undrafted free agents….just thought you gals would want to know.
May 14th, 20127:34 am
Geez, do you think it would be too much to ask to actually have some verbiage written and not just a video. I know that would require work and potentially something called journalism, but a video that says nothing, is cut off before a key answer is useless (but helps you make some quota for posting something).
Really? This is the best you can do? Really?

The answer was all the draft picks looked good to Coach Mike Smith.
The entire taped interview (without being cut off) can be seen on atlantafalcons.com

D-Led, I think Ryan gets a bad rap for his playoff failures – Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees wouldn’t be nearly as effective under the outdated offense of Mularkey’s (and Smith’s).
But why didn’t you ask him in your other blog, “why get stronger now?”
Him wanting to get stronger now, after 4 seasons is almost as silly as Mark Richt claiming that he was gonna start studying football – after 10 seasons . . .

I hope they evaluated pass catching ability,
The qb is upgrading from noodle to linguini,
and those balls are harder to catch

With your headcoach suspended for the year, your asst. coach 6 games, your GM 8, your MLB a year, your DE 4games, and your best player to ever wear that Wal-mart jersey I guess we don’t mind you blogging with the us today because we feel sorry for your crappy organization and its swamp people fans.
May 14th, 201212:28 pm
The interview won’t display, but that’s okay. The video feed probably got bored with all the generalities.

I agree…..Is there any way to transcribe this so we DON’T have to listen to that shrill voice of Ledbetter? My dog runs and hides when I start that thing up.
There’s a reason you don’t work for ESPN……Gives us a break and stick to print media.
May 14th, 20121:29 pm
Smitty gets asked “is there anybody that stood out to you?” …and THAT’s where you cut the video?!? Shame on you, D-Led!
May 14th, 20121:34 pm
so, DB82…i guess you’d rather watch RHOA?….typical….0-3 in playoff games…2 points..give up after 1st qtr…fans and players…gonna be a surprising year to watch the NFL…
May 14th, 20121:39 pm
and the current qb wanting to get stronger…why would he even admit that?…just proves what everybody’s been saying…weak body, weak arm….appears to be pretty smart, but just can’t transfer that to the ‘physical’ side of the game….

So, in order to fulfill the requests of my fellow bloggers I have decided to wrap up the jounalistic aspects of this blog and place the appropriate verbiage to the video.
Anybody that stood out to you Coach?
“Ummm Yes.That fellow from Wisconsin is a big dude. He pretty much stands out on and off the field. He can really put the food down. We have requested addional portions at all of our future meals. He has expressed an interest in grits. They don’t have much demand up there in the Dairy state. Cheeseheads, Go figure.”
May 14th, 20121:56 pm
Coach Smith – “Acually we feel we may be on to something here. There is a broad consensus to approach Arthur about the possibility of highlighting a new food product on the menu at the home games this season, Cheesehead grits. It may become the next best thing to scattered smothered and covered. Thomas asked if the defense could use that as their new slogan, but I told him it was already registered with some waffle place”.

This piece was worthless. We’re getting tired of AJC “reporters” substituting garbage video and softball interviews for factual information and insightful analysis. Did any of you characters pass Journalism 101?

The only thing I am sorry about with them Aints is that there wasn’t more of them caught and suspended Ha! Ha ! Ha ! Ha !
May 14th, 20124:49 pm
Anytime that M. Smith or T. Dimtrioff are interviewed, it is like watching a skilled politican doing their very best job.
You are not going to get any “useful information” from either one.
May 14th, 20124:55 pm
Dirtybird 82 @12:29pm…….I don’t feel sorry for the crappy saints organization, even one little bit.
I think that they got off easy, every penalty that all the parties invovled, recieved, should have been at least tripled.
Michael M.: I remember your ugly psuedonym! Unfortunate to see you’re still posting your nonsense.

Speaking of the article that DLed wrote concerning Ryan, and his conditioning program, which did not have a comment section.
It is good that he is strengthing up.
But, if Dimitroff cannot install a good OLine, it doesn’t matter too much how strong he gets, unless he can equal Superman’s strength.
How can a competent GM, go out and get all of these offensive weapons, and then leave their QB unprotected by an inadequate(to say the least) line of protection?
An OLine that is unable to move the opposition for the running game.
An OLine that cannot be depended on to even get a 1st down on 3rd and inches, or 4th and inches.

Hey Sawthat…would you say that plays our announcers call “explosive” or “busting through” are more the norm for most other nfl teams?

Why can’t we get some comprehensive reporting on the results of the minicamp? Why not be as effective on the Falcons as you are with the Braves?

We’r going to aggressively play a 3 and punt, but in really tough games we’ll go to a two and Mattie fumble, in an tempt to preserve his arm…..
May 15th, 20128:31 am
In part of the interview, that was not seen, coach Smith said he threw the book at the rookies to see if they could handle intake of the plays.
And in related news, the Commissioner’s office threw the book at the taints while Breezus made plans to sit with his coach…

I extend a hearty welcome to the young Samoans!! As us old timers know, it is a Falcon tradition to have the “son of a Samoan Chiefton on the roster”. GO FALCONS.

looks like we’re gonna take the broom stick out and sweep both of our city streets clean of those dirty bird feathers again this year . maybe with all of our problems , y’all can make it competative for a change but lookin’ at your draft and your failure to address glaring issues-me thinks naught!
