Nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin visited Falcons

FLOWERY BRANCH – Veteran free-agent defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin visited the Falcons on Monday, according to his representatives.
Franklin, a nine-year veteran, has played with Baltimore (2003-06), San Francisco (2007-10) and last season with New Orleans. He was a fifth-round pick out of Tennessee in 2003 by the Ravens.
Franklin, 31, is 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds. He played for Falcons new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, who was San Francisco’s head coach from 2005-08.

Aubrayo Franklin is a bum… We need a goo NT in order to SQUEEZE one more mediocre year out of GRAND-DADDY Abraham and see what Edwards can do on the other side… SMH… We sign Samuel, that’s good… We need to figure out how to keep Grimes and even Duanta if he agrees to restructure! Sadly, my suspicions are the Falcons are about to DEAL Grimes away, hence him signing the franchise deal… I’d love to have all three of them in the backfield with Moore, and we could easily be in the top 5 in pass defense with Nolan running the Defense…
