NFL schedule gets released at 7 p.m. Tuesday

The NFL announced that it will release the 2012 schedule at 7 p.m. Tuesday on NFL.com and the NFL Network.

I don’t know how they are going to do this, but they will have a THREE-HOUR show discussing the schedule. I don’t know who’s going to watch three hours of television about a schedule, but there is reason why the NFL is more popular than baseball.

Maybe Denver quarterback Peyton Manning will make his debut with his new squad against the Falcons in the Georgia Dome?

Perhaps Tony Roma and the Cowboys will face the Falcons in a Monday night game at the Georgia Dome?

The Falcons get a rematch with the New York Giants at Georgia Dome, too. (I’m thinking they’ll score more than two points this time around.)

Here are the teams the Falcons are set to play in 2012:

HOME GAMES: Dallas, New York Giants, Arizona, Denver, Oakland, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Carolina.

ROAD GAMES: Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Carolina.

Don’t see what you guy’s are fretting about. The Falcons should win at least 12 games next season and maybe even 13.

this could really get bad this year.I don’t see the Falcons winning that many games at home, maybe 2 at the most, and one on the the road, maybe 2. 4 and 12 is what it looks like to me.

We play 3 teams that went to the playoffs last season. A bunch of teams that went 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7 (including the NYG). Our home record is always stellar so even if we slip and go 5-3 at home we should split on the road and end up 9-7, 10-6 or 11-5. Just hope our high profile home games aren’t all nationally televised (Dallas, Denver, NYG, NO).

youre crazy i think we win out at home. I hate when people claim to be football fans but act like scared little p$#$$$s! I hope any home game is nationally televised 8-1 at home 5-3 road at worst we could finish as good as 14-2 depending on schedule

All the Away Games are Tough Environments and have been since Matty 2 nICE has been QB @ Philly Count that as an L, Matty doesn’t play well going back home and I can’t remember the last time we beat Philly at Philly, too much of ole grandma’s cookin, Kansas City, Good GAWSH, last time we went there, they beat us 56 – 10, Washington with RG3 to Pierre Garcon or Santana Moss = Burned Corners Day in Washington and the South, I mean we beat each other up so depending that Away schedule, we can be a 12 – 4 team or easily an 8 and 8 team if we don’t come out with fire every Sunday, Monday, Thursday or Saturday……..
