Hayden probably won’t get a contract with the Falcons next season. When you get 1 yr deals you gotta get on the field. If Franks has another decent game Hayden can clean out his locker IMO. Meier just can’t stay healthy poor kid. Knee, groin whats next or what would happen if kid actually had to play consistently? They said he would replace Finneran I did not know they meant in the injury department. Get better kid…we need your special teams play…I guess. Hayden must have had a setback. And Stephen Nicholas aka “the invisible man” when he’s on the field ya don’t really know it. Peterson does not have the wheels anymore but he flashes and makes plays more than Nicholas ever has IMO. Would love to see Dent set up next season and take that spot.

Hayden has always been injury prone and not able to stay healthy.

Mike Peterson will and has already proven to be able to pick up the slack.

As for Meier, tough luck kid. Maybe one day, he’ll break into the lineup.

I expect Dominque Franks to have a big night vs. the Saints. He’s a good, young player. Could prove to be our LONG TERM answer at nickel.

Ben

December 24th, 2011

And as much as we run nickel defense, that’s basically a starter. Some teams don’t run it as much as we do, in fact most don’t. So Franks is a starter basically. Play hard young man.

They blew Tampa Bay out of the Saddle today, just think they might beat the Saints in their house after Atlanta gets through with them Monday night and then then they just hand the keys back over to us with the Cadillac South Title.

5150 – What is the point you’re making about the NBA? Football has always had more fighting than the NBA. But obviously, not nearly as much as hockey. I have an idea what point you’re trying to make, but it fails on all counts if I’m right. Hockey is the thug sport, not football or the NBA. Hockey is famous more for fighting than for skating… even off the court hockey players are the worst of the major sports as far as fighting and thuggery.

Most times after the play a fight doesn’t happen. College football is getting like the NBA in that the TRASH TALKING is what is causing too many fights not the actual physical play. Spoken like someone who gets all their NBA information from Rush Limbaugh.

Tell Shaq that basketball is not a contact sport. Tell Sean Avery that trash talking is limited to the NBA.

There is very little fighting in the NBA and what little fighting there is can barely be called fighting compared to what happens in hockey or even bench-clearing brawls in baseball.

Michael M it was from the College Bowl Football game last night when the players got in to a fight to end the half. A punk WR scored a TD and stood over the DB and then got in his ear running his mouth. So very close to punches were thrown. Too many PUNKS are being allowed to go to college to play a sport.

Geaux:

Unfortunately the Urban Dictionary knows nothing of Louisiana Culture. “Geaux” in Louisiana is just a way of saying “go”. The “eaux” is pronounced like a long “O” sound in french and is very much a part of Louisiana Cajun culture. There are a lot of jokes about “Boudreaux” and there are names like “Thibodeaux” and “Gautreaux” that are well known stereotypes of Cajuns. So in Louisiana, we like to play with that “eaux” ending in words and syllables that end with a long “O” sound.

“5150 – What is the point you’re making about the NBA? Football has always had more fighting than the NBA. But obviously, not nearly as much as hockey. I have an idea what point you’re trying to make, but it fails on all counts if I’m right. Hockey is the thug sport, not football or the NBA. Hockey is famous more for fighting than for skating… even off the court hockey players are the worst of the major sports as far as fighting and thuggery.”

The FAR superior team won tonight. Saints have WAY too many weapons and the Dirty Birds know it. Any third game will WITHOUT A DOUBT, end in the same way. Face it Birds, The SAINTS OWN YOU. Plain and simple. Gripe about refs and record celebrations all you want. Ryan will never even come close to the career that BREES has. You just arent good enough to beat THE SAINTS. Sorry Hatlanta. You just SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCK.

I said is all along, Should’ve kept Finn who can still play and is a valuable 3rd down receiver and special teams player. Yet ANOTHER bad mistake by the brain trust.

NO 45 ATL 16
I’m a diehard Saints fan but one thing’s for sure, I never thought we were going to beat the crap out of ‘dem Dirty Birds with such a huge blowout like that. Lolz
I thought maybe by a TD or 10 points but not by 29. Lolz

I read this entire thread and it made me felt so good to know how much the Falcons fans hate us.
It’s all in knowing that our team is elite and of Superbowl calibre and the Falcs is either just an little above average or a mediocre team.
Hell, we’re hated by the rest of the NFC division as well.;oD
Anyway WhoDatNat, since we put our foot in the Atlanta’s azzes and booted them out of New Orleans, it’s time to have fun with the Carolina Pansies or possibly just give them the win (depending on what the 40whinners do against St. Louis Shams) and stomp whoever we face first in the PO’s.
Then we will be on our way to bish-slap the Fourtywhinners and then gear up and prepare to shred curds off the Cheese Heads by puttin’ in workz in Green Bay.
The Lombardi will be ours once again.
WE’RRRRRRRRRE GONNA GET CRUUUUNNNNK……WHODAT? WE DAT!

Wow, not many posts after the A-Town stomp that took place Monday Night. I guess some folks are still choking on those 45 points, if not crying that the Saints didn’t take it easy on them at the end. Man up, change your tampon or your pad, and keep playing cry babies. Realize that your just can’t hang with the elite teams of the NFL.
