It’s a big story to those who suffered through the previous owners and management. Now the team needs to learn how to win the big one, and guess what a week from Sunday is the big one!
December 16th, 20113:26 pm
If the Falcons had lost to Jacksonville they would have been talked about in a negative way. Now that the beat the breaks off of the Jaguars, this is simply something they should have done. It’s damn if you do and damn if you don’t. That’s why you have to win the last two games going forward into the playoffs.

Wonder if there are other teams in the NFL teams that have yet to accomplish this task. Wait, a NFC south foe comes to mind…
And Sunday is most definitely NOT “the big one”. Just another regular season game that, as of this moment, really has no bearing on the outcome of our season. 10-6 if you lose to the Aints.
Keep in mind, the Giants or the Cowboys WILL have 7 losses. They play each other last day of the season.
The Lions still have to play @ Oakland, SanDiego, and @ GB. Even if they won all 3 we still have a lock on the 6th seed.
The Bears still only have 6 losses. They also have no QB, no RB and a Christmas Day game @ GB and a game Sunday with an improving Seahawks team.
Winning in New Orleans on MNF in front of the NFL is a great thing. Beating the Aints everytime we play them is the goal. So far, we are 45-39 so we need to keep that going.
HOWEVER I could give a dam about a win vs the Aints in December.
The one in January….THAT is the “big one”

They’ll secure their third straight loss, and the 10th loss in the last 12 match ups, to the Saints on MNF.

Twas the night after Christmas
In the Mercedes Benz Arena
(Where the Saints fans did poop for some time post Katrina)
#33 was poundin’
#2 was scorchin’
#84 was torchin’
The D-Block was making Sean Payton feel faint
The Falcons did do it
But the trolls did not view it
(SeenThis was too busy bleauxing HiramSaint)
Merry Christmas to all, and to the Trolls…

MEDIOCRITY- failclowns fans celebrating winning seasons instead of winning playoff games. truly the joke of the nfl!
December 18th, 20119:12 am

Wet Dream for Breeze
December 18th, 20118:43 pm
Saints showed us they can score a lot of points too. Look who they played a 2-12 team
December 18th, 20118:44 pm
but we will win next monday over the failcons
December 18th, 20119:06 pm
it’s ironic that next monday night in front of the nation , the failclowns will hand us the nfc south championship in the superdome! quite fitting i believe
December 18th, 20119:24 pm
@ hiramsaint——- its not going to be that easy as you think, the Falcons are starting to put all the pieces together at just the right time and if they get Grimes and Hayden back all I can say is look out, your Team may be in trouble and the fans there in for a big letdown.
December 18th, 20119:32 pm
If Atlanta beats them and beats the Bucs and Saints drop the last two, to Atlanta and the Panthers then Atlanta wins the NFC South .

Jeremy Shockey just went to the top of my list of athletes I respect and admire.
December 19th, 20117:55 am
Saints play of the game>>>> ” Center snaps the ball to Breeze, ball sails by Breeze and Vikings recover……Drew, what was you doing out there dude ? ”
Put that play in the Game next Monday night against the Birds !
December 19th, 20118:03 am
A last years game >>>> ” Drew takes the flea flicker and throws it deep, booooooommmm, interception
Falcons ! ”
Stick that one in the playbook too .
December 19th, 20118:08 am
Another big play to add >>>>” Breeze back to pass, Breeze has to scramble due to heavy defensive pressure, a dump-off to avoid the sack, booooooommmm , right into the hands of Big Abe ! ”
Stick it in the playbook Saints Coaches !
December 19th, 20119:25 am
Hey Bird Dawg, just in case you – and Jeremy – weren’t aware, placing your hand over your heart ain’t considered ‘traditional’ for the ‘National Anthem’ – standing at attention with your hat off and facing the flag is what’s considered as ‘proper’. Hand over the heart is required for the ‘Pledge’ to the Flag. Of course plenty of ‘ball players’ – foot, baseball and basketball – have long since lost even the most basic ’sign of respect’ while the Anthem is being played, but it’s not the hand over the heart thing…check it out.

D.Led – please ask D. Rob about the comments about the Jacksonville receivers. I don’t believe he said that garbage. Now it’s on Monday Morning QB.
December 19th, 201111:55 am
Keep dreaming dude!!!!
December 19th, 201112:16 pm
mikey m- have you forgotten about all of matty melts int in the 4th qtr against the saints and our current 9 out of 11 wins against the failclowns ? you must have to be making the 1 sided comments. your team??? has not near enough play makers to hang with the saints and that will be made most obvious on mnf. your team is not the only 1 putting it together lately. check our running game and defensive improvements lately and tell me what you think tues morning … if your able after we get done with you!
December 19th, 20112:34 pm
@ hiramsaint– I must congratulate your team on their mighty victory over the hapless Vikings in yesterday;s game in Minnesota….a job well done and run up the score too and show the football world why we should fear a team that beats a 2-12 team so terribly awful demoralizing way. Just think you got a second seed for doing that feat………it should make you aint fans proud !
Not a Falcon fan
December 19th, 20113:40 pm
This is the problem with Falcant fans. Enjoy 4 winning seasons in a row. Win 6 Super Bowls like my team. That is worth celebrating !!!!
