Thanks D Led. We need Babs healthy for the run. If he doesnt play I think we still have a good chance to win this one. I’d rather have him play on Monday night after a long rest. Hopefully Jerry can fill in and wont play like a bust. Im convinced at this point that TD whiffed on this one…

Looks like we are pretty healthy for this game considering we are in week 15.

Think about this; I believe Atlanta will go further in the playoffs as a road team (IF) they play outdoors. Atlanta can beat the Giants and will give Green Bay fits at their house; why? Because they can run the ball. I know it sounds crazy but I think they stand a better chance with poor weather conditions.

What is this illness crap…a stomach bug? Hopefully it doesn’t spread to the rest of the team.

Iron Head, damn good observation. If they can make it to Green Bay in the postseason, they will have a better chance for a W than in the dome. Last time they went up there they beat them 3-4 years ago. Things have changed some since then, but bad weather evens things out and what’s the word I’m looking for? “Karma” will kick in.

At this point in the year every game scares me including this one and Tampa. I like our chances of going and getting the upset in New Orleans (I know it’s early to drink) and I agree with Iron Head and the Futbul Specialist, if we can run the ball like we should then bring it on!
GO FALCONS!!!

Owens hustles, You gotta give em that, butt every game he gives up a big play. Franks, not Foxworth, is doing pretty well, all things considered.
Tommy D seems to struggle with 2 positions : CB & OL. His most glaring misses in the draft have been at both spots : C. Jackson, W. Fontenot, F. Middleton, C. Owens!!, M. Johnson, G. Reynolds, S. Baker!!!!! & the jury is still out on Hawley.
Those picks make the Dunta signing look actually pretty good.

I believe the key to this game is focus on MJD. Do a Bellichek (sp?) and take away their best player, if we can stop MJD we should win this game easily, they looked strong against TB last week, and MJD had 4 TD’s, if we stuff the run, the won’t be able to generate offense. I say if we hold MJD to less than 100 and 1 or 0 TD’s we’ll win 24-10, if not, we could be looking at a nail-biter at 21-17, I still say we should win as long as we’re not counting our chickens before they hatch or looking towards 12/26 too early.
Go Falcons!

Jax D front is big, athletic and impressive. If ATL O Line comes out like they did in first half at Carolina (when they absolutely FAILED to block a makeshift, second tier at best D front), this will NOT be an easy win and could be worse.
ATL has been good against the run (despite a tendency to give up big runs at the wrong times). If the O line can keep Ryan upright and allow us to establish the run EARLY, get a lead on these guys, Birds should be fine. Although Jax came back from 14-0 to score 41 unanswered last week. Ugh..my stomach turns constantly this time of year.

I don’t want to jinx Dominique Franks but so far he’s been around the ball and the receiver. He looks good in his backpedal and he covers like he wants more than nickel back playing time. A diamond may have gotten uncovered since the Grime injury.
