Updated: Jones, Baker active for today’s game vs. Vikings

Wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) was in the starting lineup today against the Vikings. Also, left tackle Sam Baker (back) will be available.

Jones was injured against New Orleans and missed last week’s game against Tennessee. He missed two games earlier this season with another hamstring injury.

Baker, who started the first six games, missed the past four games with his injury. When announcing the injury, the Falcons expected Baker to miss three to four weeks. He returned to practice prior to last week’s game against Tennessee. Will Svitek started at left tackle.

Safety William Moore (quad), who missed the past two games, returned. However, James Sanders started at safety.

The Falcons inactives are: CB Kelvin Hayden (dislocated toe), CB Darrin Walls, LB Spencer Adkins, C Brett Romberg, OL Kirk Chambers, DT Carlton Powell and DE Cliff Matthews.

Glad Grimes is playing! More important than Baker and Hayden (or anyone else on our defense expect possibly Lofton.)

How many yards/scores does Owens give today? I would like to see if Franks or Walls could do any worse.

Don’t mess with the oline – leave Baker on the bench!

Amazing video of a high school senior from Columbia TN who kicks the ball dead straight 75-80 yards in the air. He was successful on 54 of 54 attempts this season….100%. Now he needs a college team. Wants to go to Georgia Tech!

Watch for yourself…it is unreal!

Atlanta doesn’t have the killer instinct! This game is in jepordy after leading by seventeen. To give up a first down, not to mention a touchdown on fourth and thirteen is just ugly!
