You’ve got to be kidding? The Packers hung tough in almost every loss last year… They lost to Detroit, Atlanta, and the Pats by 4, 3, and 4… They won 7 of their last 10… They were prime to do break out big…

This team on the other hand is still giving up big yards on 3rd down and passing yards… Teams may not run on them, but they just groove it on the other side of the ledger… Now they playing with a lot of pieces being injured in the back 7 and Peters and Jerry getting dinged… Good luck with that!

lol D Led, scared me at the beginning. Hope Svitek will get the start, deserves to due to his solid play so far. Release the Matty Ice from last year with those short, sharp passes to our fast recievers and this team will do wonders. Offense was not the problem last year, it was defense, and our defense has improved wonders. We just need our offense to keep back to normal and we’ll be good.

This year’s Green Bay is most likely Cincinnati… They finally have a QB (without all of the residue, poor Carson Palmer), they’ve lost two close games to monster opponents (Pittsburgh and Baltimore) and they rest of the AFC is beating itself senseless…

Amazing video of a high school senior from Columbia TN who kicks the ball dead straight 75-80 yards in the air. He was successful on 54 of 54 attempts this season….100%. Now he needs a college team. Wants to go to school in Georgia,

Watch for yourself…it is unreal!

I like that video D-Led. All you Jokers out there cracking the jokes just keep on doing it and laughing and having a swell time doing too but you may just be watching this Team playing games in the playoffs and who knows could be on Super Sunday too.

I think a lot of other folks was laughing at a fella who built a Great Ark and then the Floods came and they wasn’t laughin anymore !

This team still has some issues on both sides of the ball but they have a chance to make a major run with a favorable remaining schedule. Matt Ryan is making better decisions passing and has benefited from the improved protection from his offensive line. Our linebackers (D-BLOCK BABY!!!) have played stellar run defense all year and if our defensive line and defensive backs follow suit The Falcons making Super Bowl appearances will not sound as far fetched as many people think (Especially Aint fans who are secretly scared because they know what we are capable of). WHY NOT US?? FALCONS RISE UP!!!!!

We won’t win anything if the slow short Owens plays the nickelback. Gave up 2TDs and 3rd & 18 or so in brief time filling in for Hayden injury. Tell me why do we again have to suffer with CO21 getting burnt again this year just like the Green Bay game last year and every other game he’s in there lost in space against the pass? I give up. Must be coach’s luv child. Good thing the O got that 1st down to run out the clock or they would have burnt CO21 down the field again.. The D regressed once CO21 was put in.

seenthisB4….Your continued hate and rude behavior further exemplifies the mentality of your comments. Why not show some respect…We know the Saints are good…You know the Saints are good but you also know the Falcons are vastly Improved from management on down. This Is a prime organization that has been put together by a Honorable owner and we will win one sooner or later. So why not stop the hate and show some respect.Of course,I respect the Saints….why not show some In return for once! Your city Is a great place.I’ve been down there….but your sarcasm and hate gets old! BTW…I’ll tell you what means something…RESPECT…but that’s not part of your vocabulary Is It?

While I’d LOVE to see the Falcons “be this year’s Green Bay” and make an under-the-radar run to a Superbowl Championship, the obvious fact is that they’re not there yet. Sure, they could take advantage of some key injuries to upcoming opponents (most notably Matt Schaub) and get back into the playoffs, most likely as a wildcard team. But what they so far have NOT demonstrated is any consistency across an entire 60 minutes of football, especially on offense. And as some above have noted, the defense gives up WAY too many third-down conversions and has almost no pass rush to speak of. There is no definite killer instinct to put opponents away and bury them; big first-half leads tend to slip away, time and again.

This is not a fair-weather Falcons fan talking; it’s a longtime, thick-and-thin fan who knows to look at things objectively. Might they still get there this year? Perhaps…but they have a ways to go yet to feel like much is really clicking, and the season’s not getting any younger.

Took Noah 120 years to build the Ark…….WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
120-47=73 years to go for the ATLANTA FAL-CONS to win the SB? 2011+73=2084. Didn’t captain Kirk take his maiden voyage on the Star Ship Enterprise in 2061? No that’s when the first experimental warp drive ship flew..Hugh?
Oh well it was a nice ride….lol

Where’s the Vince McMahon theme song when you need it? Samuel, you’re alright, but they’ll be nowhere to be found come NFC Championship Sunday… I wonder if Jordy Nelson is sharing any of that huge signing bonus with the Falcons DBs? They’ve made him famous!

No one objectively looks at this team and sees the same level of talent on Green Bay this year or last year.

That said, the amount of negative pub this team gets with people on the internet everywhere from rival fans says…they are a pretty good team without even looking at the record. I can’t imagine anyone in the NFC south caring enough to go to the Charlotte or Tampa papers to talk crap.

The schedule sets up REALLY well for Atlanta in the 2nd half and no one ahead of them is any great shakes other than GB.

What we haven’t seen this team do is play well in the playoffs yet. I believe Green Bay did that the previous year (on offense anyway) when they were beaten by Arizona.

Atlanta needs more athletes in the defensive secondary and they need to score more touchdowns on offense before there is any real feeling they can be a great team. Even last year, they won ugly and it took perfect play to get 13 wins with a relatively easy schedule.

Atlanta has to start making plays before they are taken seriously, but I absolutely believe they will go to the playoffs and they could win once they get there, IF they get their collective stuff together.

The largest difference between Atlanta and Green Bay is that Green Bay makes big plays on a consistent basis offensively and defensively.

It’s almost an amazing put it on the refrigerator moment when virtually any Atlanta Falcon makes a great play (see Dunta Robinson last week)

It’s routine in Green Bay and they get them out of virtually everyone on the team.

The Falcons have pretty much taken them selfs out of playoffs contention early in the season,to make the playoffs they will have to win all 6 games left, and that won’t happen.Comparing them to the Packers is going a little far!

PMC,

Don’t flatter yourself or the dirty birds… The reason so many fans from opposing teams comment on the Falcant’s message boards are because Atlanta is a transiant town and so many people are fans of other teams though they reside in ATL with access to the obviously biased articles pumping hot air into you Falcant fans heads. It surely isn’t because fans are scared of what the dirty birds bring to the table

The Falcons will be tied for first place after the games this Sunday, and the saints fans had better
hope the saints are as good as they think they are. Because if their not, their first stop in the
playoffs is going to be Green Bay. So think about that after you learn how to spell and text a proper
sentence.

SLJ…what a dumba&§/$-like it matters where you live to go to another team’s message board. I live in Europe, I could go to the Saint’s board if i wanted to, but i try to hang out with the team that I support, not go trashing the teams that I don’t. Just another sorry Troll. Purposely going out of your way to go to another team’s board to talk trash only means one thing…SCARED.
