Turner tried to make Gayle Sayers type cuts then disappeared under a pile of Saints!

This Sunday maybe another trap game? Rise up? lol

I like the decision to go for it on 4th and inches but I did not like the play call. You cannot run it straight up the gut when their defense knows it’s coming. Everybody in the nation knew that Turner was about to take the handoff, yet we do it anyway. What’s wrong with being imaginative? Doing a toss sweep? Or a play-action fake and throw it to your FB or TE in the flat? What happened to that? You run it up the middle? That was just plain stupid. If you wanna be conservative, at least call a QB sneak. You have a better chance of getting it with a QB sneak than giving Turner the ball 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage hoping he can get there.

But why not put them on the twenty when the defense was playing very well?

Punt the darn ball or you lose the game and guess what happened? It all went up in smoke…

This maybe the beginning of the end of Coach Clean Shots tenure…

4 years and no playoff wins?

Never on your own 29 should you go for it especially with Ryan at the helm and slow motion Turner in the backfield..

Now if Arron Rodgers was back there, that’s a whole different story…….

I use low brow personal insults because you have to use small words and short sentences for Aints fans to understand them.
For instance, pointing out the ignorance of a statement like “the finish line is near and the other teams in the division are too far back to catch us” when you are 1 game ahead and still have 6 games left.

I am still laughing at the Aints fan who thinks the Falcons get beat by the Giants in the 1st round. Thats hilarious, because you are either delusional and think the Pack will lose 4 out of the last 6….nevermind, its just because you cant count.

Saints Fans are living it up cause Coach Smitty made a extreme decision and it cost dearly….you know I am not too sure giving the Ball back to the Saints would have been a bad idea. They were not high octane offensively as advertised with ole Cripple on the sidelines on his walker with his fingers crossed for a victory !

Atlanta’s defense was holding Breeze and Company pretty well in check throughout the ballgame. What happen to this big blowout the Saints was suppose to do on the Falcons ?

In the Next game your Guys better find the answer to Harry Douglas because he Burned your Team !

Michael M. I agree. The defense was getting it done for the most part. Punt the dang ball…

@Ueeediot: The finish line IS near, the 6 games left represent only 37% of the regular season, 4 of which are at home where the Saints are very tough to beat,1-1/2 game lead on the nearest divison rival.

Who is actually more ignorant, the fan that believes that the team that is currently 8th in the NFC Standings will be in the playoffs, or the guy that believes that the team currently 3rd in the NFC with only 6 games left are getting approaching the finish line?

Can we talk about something besides the fourth and inches call? There is a lot of football left to play, and I have enjoyed watching the progression of this falcons team over the past 5 weeks. Very few teams in the NFL have a WR combo in White and Jones in combination with Michael Turner in the backfield and a strong running game. Let’s have some faith people.

i would take the the falcon 40 men roster over the saint ,s 40 men any day of the week, but it will never happen mike smith and that coaching staff. bill bellechek, is the different between a great quarterback and average roster winning 12 plus games a year and a five hundred team.
