FLOWERY BRANCH – They may have changed the name of the stadium by picking up a new sponsorship deal, but Seattle’s CenturyLink Stadium is still notoriously loud.
“Seattle’s atmosphere is very unique,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “Even though it’s an outdoor stadium, the way that it’s designed, makes it the loudest in the league. Their fans up there are great in terms of knowing when to cheer and when not to cheer.”
The Falcons will have a silent communication system ready and the offense will practice with extra loud crowd noise blaring form speakers.
The Falcons will fly to Seattle after practice on Friday. Normally, the team doesn’t leave until Saturday for a Sunday away game.

Michael M. Get real. We’ve never “blown anyone away” and aren’t going to. Not with Amstel Light’s arm strenght and Mike (full of s**t) Mularky’s deja vu play calling.

Never know…it may be a ploy, to lose a few……… get Teams thinking they are a pushover so they play the Falcons soft and then open up on em with that High powered offense they claim they would have this year ! Thats a good scheme, then Teams come in wondering, are the Falcons pushovers or are they the Greatest Show on Turf.

You know Green Bay is saying oh we going to put a whipping on the Falcons when we get there week after next but it may be Atlanta does to Greenbay what GreenBay did to Atlanta in the playoffs last year

Seattles D is the real deal. BIG, fast and very physical! If the Falcons can’t protect the QB and run the ball they’ll lose. Sidney Rices first game as a Seahawk last week he had over 100 yards. Jackson isn’t making mistakes. Seattle has allowed only 10 points on D in the second half of the game. Falcons need to score early or else they’ll lose.

I like the facct you have hope but lets run this down… NFC North (Green Bay) East (Eagles, it dosen’t matter they lost to the Giants) West (Arizona) South (N.O.) and Wild Card Detroit, then a mad scramble between Giants,Dallas,Redskins,Tampa Bay,……then Atlanta(who already lost to Tampa, plus down to in the NFC. NFC loses weigh more than AFC loses)……….

i wonder how the no huddle is gonna work with all that crowd noise…especially after a couple of sacks on melt…also, i’d love to the shots of the other QBs after they’ve ’stepped into’ their throws…this pic of melt looks kinda strange….

On paper the Falcons should win. Use the Silent Communications System to prevent Mularkey from calling plays.

Here’s another tough game for the falcons.the Falcons are not a good road team something i was trying to tell people when they already crowned them to beat the bucs.Seattle pass and run defense is better than atlanta plus there at home.I think this game stays close. My take,Falcons 27 seattle 28.

I said on this blog after the Green Bay BEATDOWN in the playoffs, that BOTH COORDINATORS should NOT be back for this season. Well Coach Smith did not rid this team of these TWO Coaches and WE ARE WHO WE ARE WITH THESE GUYS IN PLACE. Our LB”s are not making plays and playing ZONE is leaving to many GAPS for the Opposing QBS! I’m for HIRING Former San Diego Offensive Co-ordinator anf Former Maryland Head Football Coach Ralph Friedgen to replace the over match MM. MM as stated in many post on this blog……………….has no idea how to attack NFL Defenses. Make these change Coach Smith so we CAN Win A SUPER BOWL!

Just which team are we going to blow away? It would be hard for Falcons to beat UGA, and they are bad. Falcons will finish last in the south, behind Panthers.

Roddy White made headlines this offseason when he said Atlanta’s offense has a chance to become the second coming of the “Greatest Show on Turf.” “This offense can be great,’’ White said. “We’re loaded. We are loaded. We already were pretty good and we added the guys we needed to add.’’

I agree with Stepchild, Roddy catches that pass and Falcons win. A microcosm of the year: our super-stars don’t make routine plays and Falcons lose. Did anyone else notice Biermann was the best D lineman on the field and played almost the entire second half? How many points did they score in the second half? Exactly.

Coach Smith is Jim Moron jr!
He and his coaches dont have the talent to take em to an SB..
Hire Professor Dan Revees and he’ll take it there within 2-3 years…

Saying Mike Turner is the second coming of TJ Ducket is a bit much. Ducket never had close to a 1000 yards in any season as a falcon. They do need to change the way they run him though. Falcon’s coaches need to stop using him as if he were a playmaker type running back which he’s not. Turner would be a fullback on any other team. Mike Smith should clearly see what we’re seeing. His cordinators are in over their heads and need to change their schemes. Use your players to maximize their abilities. Slant routes, Screen passes, and deep routes.

For all you guys who keep saying don’t worry, it’s still early in the season, look at what just happened to the Braves. The Falcons can’t even make half-time adjustments let alone in season adjustments with this coaching staff. It is what it is until a new coaching staff that’s capable of taking this team to the next level arrives. We have never had a team loaded with this much talent yet we play like the untalented Falcons of old. If the guys don’t take it personal and dig down deep this Sunday Seattle gets the win because the team has gone as far as it can go with this coaching staff. We now have to win in spite of coaching and play calling. AB spent the money, TD got the talent, Players are healthy and ready to go, yet the team looks sorry. Remove all coaching (Ryan’s no huddle) and suddenly the team become competitive. Coaching is killing this team!!! Here’s the Bad news/Good news scenario: Bad news-No play off this season guys (bummer), Good news- MM and BVG will coach their way out of jobs. The players already know this and if we lose Sunday loose lips will begin to tell a story the fans already know. Too bad we have to waste a season for the front office to bring about change.

Trust me when i say. Oc and Dc need to work for another franchise. The play calling sucks. when we blitz even i know it. We don’t disquise anything. The O needs work. where are the quick slants. where are the seem routes. When brady throws the ball there is no one within 5 feet of him, not even his own man.

Let’s see what MM does with this game. I’d like to see more creativity, but in all fairness the players have to execute the game plan.
