DLed any ideas why the offense line has gone south this year? last 3 years they have protected Ryan great and running game as been top 5. Did loosing Dahl make that much a difference? Also why not run the whole game in the no huddle, Matt runs it so well and we need to get out in front on the road. I still think we can 11-5 or 10-6.

This is not only a must win game, the Falcons must fix the O-Line, the lack of tackling, the poor punts and kickoffs, the poor QB play, defensive play calling, the offense playing calling, soft defensive zones, the numerous penalties, the turnovers and the coaching staff. This will be a busy week for the Falcons.

I think if we eliminate penalties and turnovers, we have a shot in every game we play. The O-line has got to protect Ryan. If they do, he can light a defense up. He’s shown that.

just watched coach smith vid on falcons home page he seems
to say we have several major issues that the entire coaching staff is looking at each other to help find the problems
if u listen to interviews of cordinators they all have same
answers for our sad start.they will not change anything
because we have had success the past 3 yrs so they think the
schemes they run are ok 13-3 last yr.THIS AINT LAST YR COACH

It’s not like the sky is falling, but it’s not really all that surprising either. We all saw the playoff game. They had a lot more problems than just a great WR and that’s pretty much all they got in the draft. Ray Edwards has only improved the edge very slightly and the punting situation is absolutely killing them.

Way falcons are playing, I wouldn’t bet any money on them winning. Dahl is missed on line, the falcons ran more to righ side. Reynolds is too tall for a guard. Need to put Johnson or Hawley their. I think Hawley had a nasty side in college. Was one of the reason falcons drafted him.
As far as Ryan saying he is holding ball to long, he doesn’t want too point fingers at his line, he sure would get killed then.

I have read blogs for a long time, and people cut Ryans arm. I call them people because they are not falcon fans. If a strong arm is all you need to play QB, then Jeff George and Bobby Douglas would be in the hall of fame.
Why did you think the west coast offense was started? For Ken Anderson with Bengals. Joe Montana ran this offense and he didn’t have a strong arm. Big wideouts, an run after the catch.I think they won some super bowls.
