The national media has run away from this team faster than the Gadaffi clan from Libya.

Bucs by 13. Ryan’s gimpy knee will undermine his already-weak arm.

I agree with the following article (1.). MM won’t throw screen passes to slow down the pass rush and his play calling hurts this team. We move the ball better when MR calls his own plays.

1. Matt Ryan’s a good playcaller: The Atlanta offense sputtered for most of the evening and couldn’t sustain any long drives until the Falcons jumped into their no-huddle attack late in the game. With Ryan pulling from more than 30 plays at the line of scrimmage, the offense came to life. With the Falcons down 31-21, Ryan converted on a 13-yard pass to Tony Gonzalez on third-and-12 and a 14-yard pass to Julio Jones on third-and-2. Ryan tossed a 1-yard touchdown pass to fullback Ovie Mughelli to cap the 12-play drive. After a defensive stop, the Falcons’ offense went back on the attack with 10:45 left in the game. The unit overcame a holding call on center Joe Hawley when Ryan called a trap play that sprung Michael Turner for a 61-yard gain. Five plays later, Turner scooted around right end for a 3-yard touchdown run with 4:48 left.

Peter King, who predicted Falcons in Super Bowl, predicts we lose this one. He also thinks Freeman may turn our better than Ryan at QB:

@Mountain Jim. Its not a big leap for Freeman to be a better QB than Ryan. Ryan’s lack of mobility and lack of arm strength will keep him from being a superstar QB. Ryan is good at managing his game and playing not to lose. Playing not to lose is not playing to win!

Falcons will roll over tampa, 35-14 turner will have another 100yard day. Matty will throw for about three hundred yards. Go Falcons

I have to wait to see if Ryan ever gets a decent left tackle and a decent pass blocking line before I decide what his ceiling is.

Last year and this he has to get rid of it so quick and can’t really step up much that it makes his arm look weaker than it is.

I agree he has not looked that mobile in or outof the pocket or thrown well on the move. Peyton did fine as a cerebral QB with an average arm, Ryan might also with a decent line and better OC.

0-2 in the playoffs with matty meltdown does not constitute a winner so that would explain your experience with looking at dogs azzes.

As much as I can not stand hiramsaint , he burned you to the ground drmaryb. The reason for that burn is because he is right for a change. We have not won a playoff game since’05 so we cannot be considered winners …yet. I don’t know how much football you watch but we are not Division leaders either and may still not be after Sunday. From now on , you may want to check your responses to save yourself from embarassing comments like the one above. Hiramsaint- I don’t like you but that was a good comeback!
