first! GO FALCONS

One of the two writers in the video was wearing his team’s color while the other…?

I was proud of the falcon team the way they kept fighting. Matt Ryan is one tuff QB. If they do not get a left tackle , Ryan will not finish the year , he will be on IR. Baker was beat on almost ever play.
I do not know why coaches say Bosher has a strong leg.Kickoffs make it to one yard line, 2o yard punt, avg about 35 yds on punts.Worst Punter and kickoff man in NFl.He will cost the falcons some game or games with his kicking.
I was glad to see Hayden and Sanders on field, improvemet over the two they replaced.

I would like to see Ryan go with the no huddle more. Falcons look like two different team when Ryan is calling his plays and when MM is sending them in.

The Kicking Game!
My BREATH kicks harder than Bosher! Just release this guy and go find us a NFL kicker. Anybody on the practice squad?

not sure what your point is Larry, but one writer looks professional while the green looks more like he just came from behind the counter at the BP station.
Season Ticker Holder

The credit for this victory must be given to Atlanta’s defense. When you look at the game stats, you would thing Philly won this game. The difference in this game is the Falcons defense stopped Philly in the Red Zone and force them to settle for a field goal. The margin of victory is a field goal verses a touchdown. While the Falcons defense gave up a lot of yards, they were tough in the Red Zone.

Its on to Tampa Bay next week, another tough game ahead and hopefully another Win !
Congratssss Matt and to the rest of the Birds!
September 19th, 20119:56 am
They let Matt call it when Mulucky has no clue what to do!
September 19th, 201110:24 am
Congrats Falcons! But Daunta Robinson is GARBAGE,so is BAKER! Still got some work to do. Lets go BIRDS!

I hate Ron Mexico

Good win but this team is destined to disappoint based on the pre-season hype. Dunta won’t be missed during his likely suspension (and I hope that he returns as the team’s dime DB), Sam Baker has been fully exposed, the interior O line is awful and we drafted a punter who wouldn’t make another NFL team’s roster. We should enjoy every win against a quality opponent that we get this season.

Are Falcons missing McClure that much? I thought I heard Hawley (is that his name?) has filled in admirably.
But something is way out of sinc on this O-line.
And yes, Baker is the obvious, but is he the only problem here?
At least they ran block pretty well last night. But I think that has more to do with Eagles run defense being shabby.

good game falcons were awlsome yesturday hahahahahahaha
September 19th, 20112:40 pm
Falcons a GOOOOD Team…
We couldn’t block on runnung downs, we couldn’t block on passing downs, we still scored 35pts and beat a very good team.
September 19th, 20112:46 pm
Baker needs to be benched – there are high school players that can block better
Also there are plenty of high school kickers that can kick off out of the endzone and punt the ball more than 30 yards. Hold a tryout for someone off the street.
Falcons should just release Dunta. Nobody in the secondary can cover. Everyone is always wide open in our zones and in man to man we miss assignments. Van Gorder has no clue. I like the AJC piece that said the D stepped up when needed. Their best receiver dropped a wide open pass right through his hands with the game on the line after their backup QB just marched down the field. Don’t think you can credit the D for that.

Is T. Mazzetti still working in a bar? Let’s get him to try punting!!
September 19th, 20113:11 pm
Oh yea, great game. Julio had some drops and his lack of effort on the interception worries me, but great play nonetheless, he’s still a rookie. Gonna be a good game at Tampa next week, lets get em Falcons!! Also, great job D Led, loving the videos

Grimes can cover and so can William Moore. Thomas DeCoud was replaced, thank God. Dunta just stinks. That’s just all there is to it. If we had another quality corner, we’d be set. Grimes is our #1 corner. No doubt. I know Robinson is paid like one, but Grimes is playing like it.
In the off-season we need to revamp this secondary, or maybe get rid of our DC?
September 19th, 20114:35 pm
Next draft we need to draft a corner, a few linemen, or sign one or two out of FA.
September 19th, 20115:15 pm
William Moore can come up and hit. That is for sure. Will be disappointed if they dont fix the punter/kickoff problem.
Julio is a stud and so is Roddy White, but they haven’t been a factor in either game. What is going on?? How about some slants, reverses, they only threw Roddy 1 quick pass to let him try and make some moves It seemed like every pass last night was into double and triple coverage. There had to be a receiver who was not triple covered. Ryan looks a little spooked. Guess you can’t blame him.

I have to agree with another post on here I don’t think I have ever seen a Offensive player got pushed around the way Sam Baker did. almost on every play he seemed to be man handle. and the kick off change do not work for us our guy can’t put a kick in the end zone. He’s not much of a punter either. I was watching Tom Brady he seems to have forever in the pocket with the kind of protection he is getting he will continue to pass for 400 plus yards. Matt can’t come close to putting up big numbers until he start getting some protection.
