Quarterback John Parker Wilson left the game in the third quarter after a hard tackle.
Defensive tackle Trey Lewis appeared to injury his right arm in the third quarter.
“I have not met with the trainers or the doctor,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “We’ll do that here before we get out of here tonight. We’ll have a lot more information on the status of all of our guys – it was a physical football game — on Sunday morning.”

He looked wobbly after that hit he took. Thought he was going to fall down when he stood up after the play. Hopefully, he just got his bell rung and will be fine.

The kid (JPW) has a lot of courage the way he stood in the pocket and took a beating. For a third QB, I think he fits the bill.
DLED, what are you doing up at 2:29 AM? Thanks for the Injury update!

Highly anticipating a successful season. Very impressed with what little I saw of Julio Jones. Looks like a great addition.

“Mr. Ledbetter: That’s how you talk to your customers, huh?” Don’t you call out the players when they make mistakes, why can’t we point out your mistakes?

Why did Redman play one snap? Is he locked into #2 QB?

DZ, Redman is the #2 and will be for years to come. This is preseason, and they are giving the other guys a chance to show what they have. Redman is a solid #2.

Would love to see JP replace Ryan! JP played like a REAL quarterback. Ryan still looks like a scared deer in the headlights. Jp got the ball where it needed to go with out the reciever having to turn around and go back and get it or stand around waiting for Ryan to throw. Please Mr. Blank make JP number 1 quarterback!!!!

jp wasn’t suppose to play college ball and surely not pro ball he’s beat all odds. this team is loaded and will play in the superbowl if no key players on offence get hurt. i cant wait for falcon nation to see what the people like me has seen julio lones do playing football. take my word for it you’re looking at the toughest wide reciever in the nfl. i cant wait until a corner gets in his grill or tries to jack him up. this kid is nasty mean on the feild and a yes sir no sir off the feild. julio jones is just special and has been since he started playing football. a player like julio is rare, when he touches the ball lighting strikes and the feild becomes his.

LKW, don’t know what meds you are on but if you think JP will replace Ryan you might wanna tell your doctor to lower your dosage, it’s starting to affect your vision…did we watch the same game and players?

It seems that there are many injured in the Falcons and one of them unfortunately was John Parker Wilson. I really hope that he get well soon and his injury not a serious one. Many people are quite anticipating seeing him play.
