What’s going on with Noel Devine. I thought he was ours, now I hear he signed with the Eagles. I like getting Clabo and one of the guards re-signed, but I still don’t understand why we can’t sign a Free agent Def. end, DOL. If we cut Jamal and Chauncey, that alone would save about 5 mil toward a DE that would be an upgrade. We would still have 5 DE’s to carry with a FA DE, Abe, Bierman, Sidbury, and Mathews. We could save 3 mil by cutting Ovie, who I like but its not hard to find a FB for the minimum. With those 3 cuts, we could save around 7-8 mil/yr, and you cant tell me DOL, that we couldn’t get a very good upgrade at DE to go opposite Abe.

Hate that Charles Johnson got away, but he was all about the money, not winning.

Falcon Fanatic, where are you getting your news? We have 22 UDFAs already. Official list won’t be released until every contract is signed and in Flowery Branch. I’m more anxious for news of veteran signings/re-signings.

This season will be touger than last year, tougher schedule. Right now I would take 10 wins and a wildcard.

Falcon Fanatic – Please hit your back button, scroll down two colums from this one and then click on “Tech’s Cox, UGA’s Tripp among 22 rookie FAs.” I think that article may have a little news about our UDFA’s, lol.
