NFLPA not expected to vote today

STATEMENT FROM NFLPA president Kevin Mawae: “Player leadership is discussing the most recent written proposal with the NFL, which includes a settlement agreement, deal terms and the right process for addressing recertification. There will not be any further NFLPA statements today out of respect for the Kraft family while they mourn the loss of Myra Kraft.”

that’s fair. the players should have the chance to review in depth to understand everything that the proposed CBA includes. Lot of confusion yesterday and probably poorly-timed (and poorly-thought out) instant reactions.

Quick question: If a NE Pats player sends condolences or shows up at the funeral of the Bob Kraft’s wife, how is that construed in the context of the lockout? Is it “contact” between a player and management or is it given a pass considering the circumstances?

As long as it’s non football related activity Marcus it’s considered ok.

This is along the lines of family relationships. They just can’t talk at all about league business.

That's a joke

Players not voting cause of owners wife????..ROFL..A new low in LYING….All they had to say was “we will take the weekend to read and consider”.
Was, or will there be, a large contingent of players from EVERY team at the womans funeral?

No when a professional athlete is lying? He opens up his mouth. Old but true. What jerks.
