5. DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia

4. Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis

3. Calvin Johnson, Detroit

2. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona

1. Andre Johnson, Houston

Roddy White is one of ONLY TWO WR’s to AVG 95 catches, 1300 yrds & 8 TD’s in the last THREE seasons. Classy or NOT, THAT’s putting in WORK. ESPECIALLY in a ‘run first’ offense. He SHOULD be top 3, if not HIGHER!

Bsq3003 — Yeah, classy. After catching 115 balls and going to his third-straight Pro Bowl, he could have easily included himself.

@ poppa failcan- thats because there was no one else who can catch on your team. i’ll give gonzales some credit but we all saw him wear down last year at the end and it will come even sooner this year. y’all should have drafted a t.e. and some D instead of trading ALL that for a reciever that matty melt doesn’t have the range to throw to on a regular basis

Well if he is the only one on the team who can catch the ball than he is even more remarkable! That means he was constantly double teamed because everyone else was bad, right? Wow! aints guy you are right, Roddy should be #1!

Easy everyone Bsg3003 thinks picking his noise in public and scratching his little balls is a classy way to impress the chicks.I think we should check for class with some of our fans. This guy is that smelly slob who sits next to you at games drinking beer farting burping talking crap about the players we have you know the kind I am talking about.

yeah, here comes the Saint’s fans idiotic logic. I agree Roddy was the only real threat in the passing offense which means what he did was a remarkable feat. Teams constantly double teamed him and always rolled coverages to his side of the field. No team respected Jenkins as a threat except in the red zone. You have to respect Julio’s mix of speed and strength. He is one of the most physical WR to come out in years. He has one of the best stiff arms of any WR ever. He has the ability to take it to the house on any play because he breaks DB tackles. You cannot roll coverages to Roddy this year without having to fear that the #2 will make you pay for it like last year. Oh, and as for “matty melt”, I will take the QB who won 13 games and didn’t get beat by the worst team in playoff history. He lost to the defending superbowl champs, the current superbowl champs, the AFC champs, and a hot Eagles team before they got banged up. Who did you guys lose to?

With that being said, Roddy is a great player but is a self entitled diva off the field. He is one of those athletes that believe they are better than everyone else just because they can run fast and catch a rubber ball. Just go back and read through his twitter account.

RW led the league in catches and was 2nd in yards. Yet he doesn’t mention himself as a top 5 wideout. Classy, Modest I don’t know what the word is but he is PRODUCTIVE.

Agreed, for White that is exceptional classy. Why stop there, it was also smart, since he’s not in the top 5.

you are crazy if you think Roddy isn’t one of the top 5 WR in the NFL. No one can argue with his on field production. He did all this without having any other decent WR to take pressure off of him. Most of the other receivers who people consider a top ten guy have a compliment. Roddy hasn’t had that. Look, I don’t care for the guy off the field, but if you don’t think he is a top 5 WR then you just don’t know much about football period.

Yes, that’s crazy!

First, off he doesn’t know much about football… according to Brent.
Second, there are a lot of good receivers in the league. He’s a very productive possession type receiver. He’s not a game changer. He’s in the top 15. If he was so good they would be so desperate to get draft someone else.

@ Hiram Aint,
Don’t worry about who we drafted. Worry about them crappy aints. Bressus( get the duck outta here!)

Maybe Roddy is the 6th best receiver…Im sure Drew Brees wishes Roddy was on his team. I bet the Aints running corps does too.
Fact is, its great for us and great for the NFL that the NFC South is this competitive. I want at least 4-2 in our division.

Assuming the CBA will reinstate the 4 year free agent rule, the Aints must really believe all the rookies they drafted will play as pro bowlers because with 30 free agents, its going to be tough. I sure hope they save enough money to resign Roman Harper though…
If the Aints get a QB that comes in after Brees and is top notch, then the Aints will be competitive for a while. Right now, it looks as though this will be the last year of the window for the Aints. Falcons on the other hand are still on the way up. The next three to four years are our window for success. (However, Im already thinking in the back of my mind that if Matt Ryan doesnt appear in at least a NFC Championship game this year, it is time to draft a quality QB to give him some competition.)

looking at you schedule and the enormous goof made by the 3 stooges in the draft , i doubt matty melt will even play in a playoff game this year. you gotta know the bucs are just gonna slightly edge you out into 3rd in the nfc south. 0-2 in the playoffs in 3 years really sounds to you like on the way up ? i guess it does when you have to settle for mediocrity

Some folks can hate all they want. All you need to do is take a look at the stats for the last couple of seasons. Roddy was #2 during the 2010 season, #4 during the 2008 season, and only a 111 yard difference kept him out of the top 5 for 2009 season. He is definitely one of the top 5 receivers in the game!
