Exactly RealBirdFan, RW has shown on occasion that 85 and TO side of his personality and it isn’t something I like to see, especially when it’s detrimental to the team or a drive. Stay within yourself RW, everyone knows you’re awesome!

There is so much “dislike” for T.O. whats wrong with a player who wants to win and win only….the only time we know what T.O. was doing was when television was forcusing on him on the sidelines instead of the game…and the statement he made on the ESPN regarding the Bengals situations mainly what Carson Palmer really wanted to say ….if you talk with a Cincy fan they will tell you the same thing…. and what about his past statements regarding the QB’s he’s played with…and it seemed like TV was seaching for anything on him when he played at Buffalo….and finally there were no players that said he was a disruption in the locker room…so all I can say is keep drinking the media’s “KOOL AID”……..

I’m afraid it’s just the nature of standout WRs to feel the need to call attention to themselves. I don’t think it makes Roddy a bad guy, but I’ve never been able to figure out why it’s the WR position specifically. T.O., Chad Whatever-his-name-is, Randy Moss, Javon Walker, Brandon Marshall, Keyshawn Johnson, and a host of other talented receivers have been completely unable to just go about their business and let their performance speak for itself. I’ve never understood why someone with so much talent isn’t content letting the accolades come based on what he does on the field, not based on how much he talks about himself (often in third person). But why is this phenomenon limited to WRs (and CBs, who are just WRs with bad hands)? You don’t see the same false bravado from top RBs, DLs, or QBs…what gives?
Thankfully, for every T.O. or Keyshawn, there’s a real class act like Larry Fitzgerald, Jerry Rice, Anquan Boldin or Hines Ward.
