Roddy White apologizes to the fans on Twitter

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons wide receiver Roddy White apologized to the fans via his twitter.com account on Sunday.
He wrote, “I want to apologize to all the falcon fans for our horrible performance last night it was not good and I’m sorry”
White turned in one of the best season in NFL history.
He led the league with 115 catches and set a new franchise mark for most catches in a season.
But after the game, he was terribly disappointed.
“You always think about your legacy and you’re judged by what you do in the postseason,” said White, who caught six passes for 57 yards. “I haven’t done anything yet. So we have to prepare ourselves for next year.”
The four turnovers jolted the offense out of sync.
“They came up with crucial turnovers when they needed them and they kept us out of the end zone,” White said. “After they got ahead, they kind of came after us a little bit. They blitzed us. We really couldn’t do anything. We had to throw the ball in the flats and things like that”

snelling is better than michael turner. i think we should trade turner for a top 5 or top 10 pick and draft aj green. roddy white and aj green would be the beastliest combo ever.

Roddy, its time to put up or shut up. You evidently aren’t as good as you think you are and for the most part the Falcons as a whole stink! What is it going to take for you all to get mad enough to play like a professional NFL team and go further than playoffs? How much is Matt Ryan paid to throw the game? Why didn’t Mike Smith play the big players in the biggest game of the year? Lets become the calibur of a team that sports critics talk about so we can go to superbowl!

well i see it like this the falcon are young they have room to grow i was mad about the loss but we’re still building here people i just hope they get another WR to help white out and OPEN UP THE PLAY BOOK for ryan let him show some growth for all the media to see

Mr White you are a class act and no apology was necessary. There are truly ignorant and classless people out here and a lot of the comments posted proved that point. To them the non-fans who did not support our team or appreciate the beauty of our season, I say get a life and stop being so mean and hateful. Remember, you reap what you sow.

Just like your little playoff game, this site is FULL of fans from other teams…. GOOD GOD ATL is pathetic… WHO DAT and GO PACK…. It must be sickening to have an empty trophy case but hey you guys can go home with a division banner… thats like in little league when they give the last place team a trophy so the kids wont go home crying…… if any of u failcants need a part time job in the offseason you can come clean our trophy. Now go home and get ur fkn SHINE BOX!
