COACH SMITH’S SHOW CANCELED
–Coach Smith has canceled his radio show, Falcons Live, according to the team. He usually does it at a Sporting Good Store in Flowery Branch on Monday.
“Falcons Live: Come (Mike) Smith Show has been canceled tonight due to the weather. We will advise if it gets rescheduled,” the team tweeted on its official twitter account.
FLOWERY BRANCH – The inclement weather should not effect the Falcons preparation for their divisional playoff game with the Green Bay Packers set for 8 p.m. Saturday at the Georgia Dome.
The coaches were at the facilities late Sunday putting their finishing touches on the game plan and likely stayed on-site in the dormitories.
Monday morning, the players were trying to make their way into the facilities for a walkthrough practice that was schedule to start around 11 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
When the team gets assembled, they will likely hold their practice at the indoor facility and the team would have to option of moving everyone back into the dormitories, which is where they live during training camp.
Here’s the practice schedule for the rest of the week:
Monday — Team Walkthrough.
Tuesday – Practice 1:10 – 3 p.m. (Game Plan Installation)

The Falcons could be playing some billiards in the players' amenities building if they stay in the dormitories at Flowery Branch. (D. Orlando Ledbetter/Dledbetter@ajc.com)
Wednesday – Practice — 11:40 a.m. – 1:20 p.m. (Game Plan Installation)
Thursday – Practice 11:00 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
Friday – Team Walkthrough
Saturday – NFC Divisional Playoff vs. Green Bay, 8 p.m.

The Falcons Need To Rise Up. For One, in our last game versus the Panthers, yes we killed them, but it should have been by way more. They need to learn that this is the Playoffs, this isn’t no time to lolly gag. They already knew in the season, they were going to the Playoffs. I could tell they didn’t care that much. Ovie Mughelli, wasn’t consistent. He is a great blocker, but lately he has become lazy. That’s what it looks like to me.
Falcons are better than this. We don’t deserve to lose first round. We need to win the Super Bowl, and prove the Media wrong. I don’t like the Media, and try to ignore them as much as possible. Oh, and one more thing: RISE UP! I’ll always be a Falcons Fan For Life, that’s just my Opinion.

Another mysterious bird kill was reported last weekend. 54 Eagles were killed Sunday afternoon. 54 Falcons will reportedly go down next Saturday.
They’re dropping like flies.

I see the intellect of the falcons fans is in a direct relation with the time of day. Wow?!? Most Packer fans have treated Favre like Michael treated Fredo. “You’re dead to us.” So take all the shots u want.

This is perfect timing. The Packers are the hottest team in the NFL right now and they’re right in the middle of the playoffs. Their confidence and swagger is sky high. A victory over the Falcons should not be a problem. Happens every year. The hot team rolls through the playoffs. Sorry Atlanta, it ain’t your year.

What amazes me Atlanta fans is that none of you know how competitive Green Bay is. I’m not saying Green Bay is going to win but I think they have at least a decent chance. Green Bay has never trailed by more than 7 points at any point of any game all year. The 6 games they lost were by a combined 20 points and 2 of those games were OT losses. All I’m saying is that the game is either going to be a close game or a Green Bay blow out. When Green Bay gets up early it’s over. Matt Ryan has done a great job for your team but he is not close to as talented as A. Rodgers. If your running game gets shut down you will be one dimensional. Game over. Didn’t those Saints beat you a couple of weeks at home? Heck, I was hoping Green Bay was going to get a game in the dome. Get ready for the next 5 years because we have a lot of young talent. Did I mention Green Bay started 10 different starters in last weeks playoff game from last years playoff game? Lots of young talent with over 14 people on the IR. How many injuries do you have? Green Bay is going to be scary for a long, long time. Looking forward to the game.

AG, techically it’s 45 on game day, not 53 or 54. There’s a reason Green Bay fans were named the most knowledgable fans in the game by a landslide. You should have saw the poll in the lastest issue of SI. Over 300 players were surveyed.
