FLOWERY BRANCH — Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (shoulder) did not practice on Friday and was listed as questionable for the Sunday’s game against Carolina.

Defensive end Kroy Biermann (calf), middle linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee) and center Todd McClure (ankle) were all limited in practice and listed as questionable for the game.

Wide receiver Roddy White (knee) fully participated while defensive end Abraham (groin) was limited in practice. Both were listed as probable for the game.

Out  = definitely will not play

Doubtful  = at least 75% chance will not play

Questionable = 50-50 chance will not play

Probable = virtual certainty will be available for normal duty

All Clubs are required to provide the NFL office and issue to local media the names of injured players who missed any portion of 11-on-11 team work on Friday (and updated on Saturday and Sunday, if applicable).

Your blog is awful. If we wanted injury updates and news about fan appreciation day we may as well read every other news wire or the falcons website. You should look to Dave O’Brien and Michael Cunningham for how a blog should be written rather than continually posting useless blurbs.

It’s sad that one of the best teams in the league is so poorly covered.

Hey LC, how about you apply for D-Led’s job? I’m guessing you meet the journalistic qualifications. Or, how’s this, why don’t you go read the “other news wire” instead of wasting your precious time reading OR commenting on D-Led’s blogs? Or, maybe, use your journalistic skills to construct a letter to the higher-up’s regarding your take on D-Led’s blogs (that may be your way in actually). Wouldn’t that be the tactful thing to do? Unless you get a kick out of dishing destructive criticism. Get it? There’s nothing constructive about your entry. You sir/ma’m are out of order. Good job D-Led!

Babs must have injured his shoulder in the 2nd half of the Monday Night game with the Saints. Hopefully the Falcons can go ahead and take care of business Sunday against the Panthers, win the division and wrap up home field advantage where they can get some much needed rest going into the playoffs. I think the key once again will be Michael Turner, just as was the case when Atlanta played them in Charlotte a few weeks back.

I can pretty much guarantee LC didn’t get any last night!
Hopefully we can get a good lead and work on some of the N.O.
gameplan since they would be our likely foe after the bye week.

i say rest them all. At the least do not let them play the second half. Provided we have a 2 score lead at that point.

Thanks for the update D-Led. We will need all hands on the deck for a possible Super Bowl push.

Could Norwood be available for the playoffs or Super Bowl?

Go Falcons.

Babs, has made two huge plays the last two games. We need him healthy in the playoffs. We have enough depth on the D- line to rest him against Carolina.

LC- I hate to say this, but you are correct. DOL – You certainly could add a little more insight and things that are not “copy & paste” type items for your blog.

I don’t like having to comment on this, but at some point someone has to call out a piss poor job. As other people after me have commented, he simply re types news that we can get elsewhere.

If you read DOB or Cunningham, you get actual insight and opinion regarding the respective teams along with information that you can’t find by googling. Here you get nonsense that you can find anywhere else.

Best example is his copy and paste of the likelihood of playing based on injury status. Pathetic. A 5 year old could do that.

Oh and to welikebaseball, no need to write letters to the higher ups. I’m a lawyer that does not need to apply for a journalism job. If handed to me, however, I’m certain I and most other bloggers could do a better job than this. In addition, I look to my city’s newspaper to get information on my teams that the national media simply cannot or does not provide. If this blog even provided a semblance of that, I would not have felt the need to comment. However, it is useless and deserves to be criticized.

Happy New Year to all! Ease up on DOL as the falcons are the hardest team to get injury reports from! Be glad DOL pushes hard to get the reports to the fans. We need to put Carolina away early this Sunday, after all, they are going to be inspired to send Coach Fox out a winner! On paper this is a no contest game, but that is why they line up and play the game and the falcons need to be wary of this game and to control their own destiny with home field advantage during the playoffs! Also, the coaches and head coach Smith better figure out how to beat the 7-8 in the box defenses are starting to throw at the falcons with good success.

lets get tomorrow out of the way then worry about who they play. carolina has nothing to lose tomorrow.it would make their season a little bit better if they could stop the falcons from winning the division, and they are no pushovers.just win tomorrow and then worry about the next game. GO FALCONS ! FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED !
