Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.
The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.
Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.
The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14 and securing a spot in the playoffs.
After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.
“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”
Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.
In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

I still can’t see how you atl fans can sit here and hold yourselves in high regard, yet you can’t seem to keep your focus on football. How are you that mad that you lost a game that you refuse to focus on the field. Instead you slander our city because you can’t stand to admit to a loss ? wow. This is sad. And just to clear the air Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele did not say he pissed on the logo, he simply said he posed on it, meaning he took a picture on it, not urinated on it. Ya’ll need to just calm down and worry about not loosing to Carolina. Plain and Simple. Keep it football and stop being petty sore losers.

Let’s just expect our team to remember this incident and play full-out if they meet again in the playoffs. No playing safe, go out there and embarrass the Saints on the field. Do it again next year, and the year after that…They should always be motivated to beat the classless saints by 30+. Remember that onsides kick? Return the favor. If you’re up by 2 scores with 2 minutes left, go for another. Take pictures right after the win in front of their bench (when playing in ATL) and on their emblem at their field.
NO HOLDS BARRED. I want to see the Smitty that went toe to toe with MeAngelo, the guy who was willing to fight for his players. Mularkey, you’re an offensive guru. Come up with a gameplan that will score 30+ against the saints. No prevent defense. No prevent offense. We need to have one of those games NE pulls off against their top foes where they win 38-7. I want to see NO afraid to even step on the field with ATL because they know they’re going to be embarrassed.

It was posted once and let’s do it again…
When the Falcons won in New Orleans, they acted like champions….. When the sAints won here, some of the players and coaches acted like they never had won a big game before… (Now, remind me of who won the Superbowl last year?… Right, shouldn’t they know how to behave as champions.. Oh, it must be the coach – some would say. Naw, it’s really the players!!!
Go Falcons!!!

You’re right. You did beat the Ravens. we didn’t. Is probably because our receivers don’t push down defensive backs to make catches. And you do know that Roddy White admitted doing that, right? Why don’t you blast him for poor sportsmanship like you are blasting Remi for what you THOUGHT he said? What? Huh? You’re not?
Thought so.

It’s funny how you believe the saints can repeat when they lose to high caliber teams such as the Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns.. Since you are quite the historian here you may remember a time in which saints fans would wear brown bags over their faces because of how embarrassed of their team they were.. It truly amazes me the amount of Saints fans that emerged from the shadows as soon as they have a fluke season, winning a game that was not even a big game for the falcons does not mean a repeat of a super bowl.. Why don’t you and all your saints friends get off the internet that is provided for you by the welfare checks honest tax payers such as myself pay

Now that the Saints won in your dome while roddy white running his head and not know what he was talking about, you all are talking bad about the Superbowl champ, their fans and their city only tells the rest of the world how stupid atlanta is who didn’t a superbowl yet talking more trash.

Every darn sour grapes sports message board always has to talk stuff about Katrina and how people should have died and needs to still die in another storm… because your football team loses to the Saints. Really?
I don’t give a fig about them taking pictures on your Logo, so what? If Reme urinated on the logo, then I think that’s crass and wrong. If he did and is not just saying it, trying to push buttons, I’m sure the NFL will deal with it.
But what’s that got to do with Katrina? Oh yeah, nothing…Y’all, that’s just effed up. Indianapolis and Minnesota said the same nasty things too about the victims of Katrina as if they have anything to do with the football team, and look at how their season turned out. Stop being sore losers and mean people who you don’t know anything about.
And Rody White… and he is? Who is he to speak for God and why God let the Saints win the SB? Keep being nasty and mean and God will let them win another one. He doesn’t like ugly and y’all, like Minnesota, are ugly.

and remember back in the day, it was Saints players you always took as seconds for your team who returned to the Saints and retired as Saints, not Falcons.
and this baloney bull of never getting beat at home? Last year the Saints beat y’all at home, don’t care that Matty Ice didn’t play, Saints won and IIRC, half the stadium was Saints fans, not Atlanta fans.
and the Saints did lose to some not so good teams but yet they beat you at home who was unbeatable at home and broke a few streaks you had going on.

“child, please” Before preaching education you should acquire basic grammatical skills, this I know is not your fault, as I can see from all the saints posts on here the educational system in New Orleans is lacking. Please learn how to spell before insulting me so I can at least understand what you are saying. For example ” to words to you” what you meant to say was “two words for you”. Also “baloney” is not a real word, where you came up with that I’m not sure. So “how’s that for some education”

Also I’d like to point out that while visiting in NO I noticed that you have men paid to scrub the vomits from the streets with brooms after they are heavily covered in soap. This is something uncommon in America due to the fact that most people have decent character. To compare NO to any other city is simply unfair, don’t forget you guys got that big bath in 2005 yet still remain one of the dirtiest places littered with welfare recipients and for some unemployment. I say some because to receive unemployment you must at one point have held a job, something most of your cities people have not had great success in.

It’s the tourist that come here and act a fool.

Child Please…You addressed me so I am responding. Yes, there have been lots of comments written here and said eslewhere about both teams, so both teams have been picked upon, so get off of the cross, you guys are not alone with being picked on. I will also tell you that I have been to your fair city 3 times and plan to never return. How does the saying go, ‘Once is an accident, two times is a happenstance, but 3 times makes a trend’. In all my visits to New Orleans, I saw behavior I found to be distasteful and disgusting, by visitors and locals alike. The town does appear nasty and rundown in sections to the casual observer, but with that being said, there are also parts of Atlanta that suffer from the same decripitude. I have chosen not to return to New Orleans, in the same way I will not take a stroll down in Vine city, or on Fulton Industrial or even on Joseph E. Lowry or Martin Luther King jr. Drive, all well known and traveled areas of Atlanta. The denizens of such areas in your City and mine suffer from the same malaise, and I choose not to associate with folks that would rather tear down with lack of caring what they have rather than stand up, dare I say ‘Rise Up” and take ownership of their locale and try to make it better instead of waiting for Government to ride in and save the day. And, Yes, I will speak the truth, Dear New Orleans residents! When a Huge effin storm like Katrina is bearing down on your town, hey, here is an Idea…GET OUT! Walk, run, drive fly or crawl, with your crap in tow or only your lives..That is common sense, something that a great many of the residents of new Oreleans have in short supply. You had DAYS, not hours, but you waited for somebody to tell you what to do! I, along with many watched in Horror the days leading to and the weeks and months of the aftermath, but please, face the truth! Many areas along the Gulf Coast were hit harder than New Orleans, but they didn’t sit on their hands waiting to be saved. Likewise , they took the bull by the horns and started cleaning up after the storm passed. I apologize if the TRUTH hurts! We have all mourned for you, with you, held telethons, given money , all to no avail, as the city, I dare say is no better off today than the months prior to Katrina!Common sense, like don’t mix water and electricity, get off the tracks when the train is coming, and don’t touch downed power lines, cause if you do, you will get hurt and that is on YOU, and no one else! It is your responsibility, Your fault! Yes your team won Monday night, Cheers to your team, your Fans, Hats off to you, but, Pissing on a teams logo, out of Bounds. Katrina is history to all of us EXCEPT you guys, get over it…Move on! Or do like a great many of your citizens did, move to Houston or Here, and start over and make a new life with the common sense knowledge that New Orleans is below sea level and will Flood again. Maybe you can all leave some Tide out on the door steps and it will get a good cleaning in the process!

You talk about having character but yet you attack the poorest of the poor and resort to a hurricane in hope it will kill people you know nothing about.
Y’all have some serious issues. Wishing people you do not know, dead, and a city to be destroyed.
And it’s just a rumor that the logo was urinated on- until it is confirmed, put some big boy paints on and take your loss like a grown up.
Every urban city is this way- whether it be yours or NO or Detroit or LA. get over it. The inner city criminals do not represent the entire region. Do I really need to tell you this?
And in light of your high society, best and brightest Bravo housewives, I would not go around calling NO ghetto… lol, that really was way too much.

Would you like to hear my personal Katrina story? Do you really think all of the 5 parishes of the region is the way you discribe? It’s just a small % and not all of the region.
Many people died, lost their homes, and jobs, and eveything else. They did not take hand outs but rolled up their sleeves and rebuit.
And we do not know where the money that was raised all went to either. It never made it to folks like me. I know nothing about any money that was rasied.
You should not paint everyone with the same broad brush.

I’m glad that you are not the poster child for one who is “educated” because if you were, education would have a bad name. I place your entire ignorant post so that there would be no question as to what I am refuting. You say that scrubbing streets is uncommon in America? You have not been around much, have you? You have to clean heavily tourist areas, or else they will not be enjoyable. That is the nature of the beast. and by the way, more out of towners frequent that area (The Quarter) than locals, so the trash and “vomit” and the need for cleansing is from them rather than from Orleanians. If you were truly informed then you would know that. Then you say that we had a “bath” in 2005? Sir (or madam), we had a natural disaster that we had no control of. Have you forgotten that your city averted a disaster of gargantuan proportions recently when your “fake lake” ran out of water that supplies the entire metro Atlanta area? Don’t you realize that God had mercy on your city and allowed the storm waters to refill your reservoirs? Just keep talking stupid trash and watch what the results will be when God decides not to have mercy and your city suffers from lack of water from that man-made lake. All cities have problems because of sin, and there is a sure sinful nature showing when a person rants in the way that you have. Many other cities came to your aid and sent tanks and bottles of water to help you. Don’t be so smug just because you do not experience hurricanes. There is a disaster that can create extreme hardships for your city too — but I would never wish such upon you like some on this blog have suggested.

Child Please….Your final comment hold great weight, and it was not my intent to paint all with the same brush, but I hope we find common ground in agreeing that those at the Superdome and at the Astrodome in Houston unfairly represented the majority of New Orleans due to slanted journalism.
Tom….. In response to your previous post, I stated I had been to New Orleans 3 times myself, and saw and verified that some behavior observed was by tourist and locals alike. It became apparant that some locals use the excuse of seeing bad behavior by tourists as a reason to act poorly, in a way that led me to belive on more than one ocassion that some New Orleanians just don’t give a damn about anyone but themselves. If I owned a business in a city, I would fire an employee who urinated outside in public on the wall of said business in the alley, I found just the opposite with me and my wife being labelled racists after I pointed it out to the owner .And for the record, that was the 3rd incident, there will not be a 4th. Public intoxication( a tourist), Public sex between males(residents), and finally Public Urination(resident). Enough to tell me that New Orleans is not for me. Also for the record, I have encountered Public Intoxication here in Atlanta, just not the other 2 incidents. But then againI saw the Public Intoxication on My college campus, not in the middle of “The Quarter” as I experienced all three incidents in New Orleans, you know, the Tourist destination, the area that you think would be looked after a bit better, but I guess like Vegas, anything goes. First Impressions are hard to change, I agree. So I will have to go back to New Orleans and have a great time, unlike nearly being killed in a Barge accident at the pier. But I got over that, and tried again. And I was rewarded by seeing things I knew I never wanted to take a chance of seeing again, so, I guess I won’t be returning. Final points, ONE…Yes Atlanta has experienced a Hurricane…Opal…Look it up, a Cat one when it tore thru the city. TWO…Cities sent us water years back? Interesting we were never told. Would appreciate you citing a documented news story for that one if you please….Yes, God Blessed us with Rain, as He blessed your city sparing its TOTAL destruction, but as Ben Franklin said..”God Helps those who help themselves” Maybe that is why there are still folks living in FEMA trailers 5 years hence, and why they were in them to begin with.

OK, I agree that if REMI did what he said then he should be fined heavily and suspended for this season if not all of next season as well there is no place in this sport for that kind of behavior or talk for that matter. As for the picture it was for a memory not for disrespect. The SAINTS beat a team that was incredibly tuff and well coached. I would have taken a picture as well. Who cares if some one takes a picture on the emblem, If the emblem is disrespected that would be different. As a saints fan I would be mad as hell if they showed that type of obviouse disrepspect. Please do not judge the team for the actions of one. The saints are as classy of a team as they come. They play with as much heart and passion as any team in the NFL. Please do not poke fun at the city of new orleans and Katrina. Many families suffered great loss and death as a result of this catastrophe. Many families are still suffering. The New orleans team has helped out in many ways including Financially and Hard Labor. Atlanta is a great football organization worthy of winning the SB. The Saint/Atlanta game was the greatest football game I watched this year. Both teams fought tooth and nail for every yard. I have no doubt that if we (the saints) can go the distance and meet back with Atlanta (who no doubt will beat anyone they face) It will be a great game.
