Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.
The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.
Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.
The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14 and securing a spot in the playoffs.
After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.
“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”
Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.
In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

You’re only comeback is “well, we’re 1-1″. Awesome. Your win was early in the season and killed our chances at the division. Our win was to clinch a playoff birth AND put us right back in the hunt for the division. Long shot, I know, since Carolina is awful but stranger things have happened. Oh, and I can’t believe you just said, “falons made it to the superbowl before y’all did.” I honestly can’t believe you just typed those words. Too funny my man.

They took a picture on the falcon at mid field. They did it after the dome pretty much emptied out. They do it after a big win. They did it in dallas. You do not hear the cowboys crying like little babbies about it. Now if remi did urinate on the field, then he should be suspended and fined. As for the katrina comments. Most saints fans (at least the ones i know) hate the media bringing up katrina. Seems to me that the media and falcon fans are the ones who just cant let katrina go. move on.

Hard to believe that most of the posters here don’t realize a non-story when they see it, and that they’re having their chain jerked by a second rate journalist.
I do however believe your sentiments about Katrina and all your hate filled rhetoric. I live here and sense it constantly. You feel that way simply because you feel that way. No football game could make anyone choose that mentality.
That being said, your city will never have a team with long term success. Karma is a b!tch and the elitist attitude you spew will always have the effect of dragging you down. Mark these words, because it’s already written in stone.

To URINATE on state or public property is a violation of the law and if anyone witness Saints player Remi Ayodele urinating on the Ga. Dome field then he is in serious violation that is subject to arrest in and when he returns to Atlanta….D.O.L. I hope you and the NFL look in to this serious acquisition…..

Seriously, you’d have to arrest 95% of all NFL players that play on that field. I still don’t think Remi said that since it is still just ONE SOURCE that started this. Someone would’ve seen it going on. Now, if he did it during the game then all bets are off. All NFL players have pissed on the field at some point in their career.

You have to ignore the Katrina nonsense being spewed by these childish fools. They probably live in trailor homes, have GEDegrees, sit on porch drinking beer all day. They don’t own anything, they don’t have an education, and they sure as hell, don’t know anything about football, so they resort to childish responses. Since their vocabulary is limited, let me give you another one to use : “Your Momma”. LMBO.

Saints 17 – falcan’ts 14. Deal with it!
The falcan’ts were on National TV, and last week the falcan’t fans were all boasting about putting on a show for the country, and gaining respectability; all they did was deliver a big fat zero.
The Saints publically vindicated all of the sports journalists across the country for not showing the falcan’ts any respect and leaving them out of all conversations about who will be in the Super Bowl. The Saints shut down the falcan’t offense and completely dominated the falcan’t defense! Out-played and out-coached!
I guess the falcan’ts couldn’t stop the “Chuck and Duck”.
Bucs next.

I AM A SEASON TICKET HOLDER IN ATLANTA BUT SUPPORT THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS. THERE WAS A PICTURE TAKEN ON THE FIELD AFTER THE GAME MOST OF WHICH THE “SAINTS FANS” WANTED AS WE NORMALLY DO WHEN WE PLAY ATLANTA. I THINK THIS IS BLOWN OUR OF THE WATER AND FRUITLESS, THERE ARE FALCON FANS THAT RAG ON THE OVER 1000 PEOPLE THAT DIES IN THE HURRICANE BUT THE SELFNESS OF THE FANS ARE HORRIABLE ON BOTH PARTS. LET ME AS A SAINTS FAN SAY THAT I AM SORRY THAT MY TEAM ONE THE GAME AND TOOK A PICTURE ON THE FIELD WHICH JUST SO HAPPENED TO BE YOUR LOGO. FALCONE FANS ARE HURT BECAUES THEY LOST THE GAME AND GOT SWEPT BY THE SAINTS LAST YEAR. THEY ARE AFRAID THAT AFTER WE BEAT THE 9-7 WEST TEAM THAT NEW ORLEANS AS POORLY AS WE PLAYED WILL COME BACK AND BEAT THEM AGAIN. HEY BIRDS YOU LOST THE GAME STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMEONE PISSING ON THE FIELD WHICH HAS NO SUPPORTING PICTURE. (THROW A FLAG AND GET AN INSTANT REPLAY) IS THIS YOUR ONLY WAY OF PUMPING YOUR TEAM UP AFTER LOSING A GAME THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE ONE @ HOME? HEY MAN UP AND GET IT TOGEHTER ON THE PRATICE FIELD AND FOCUS ON SOMETHING WORTH WHILE —THE NEXT GAME.

Boy you Atlanta fans can sure dish it but can’t take it. When you guys won in New Orleans because of a field goal that should have been made, all we heard in the dome and on the streets afterwoods was loud mouth Atlant fans about how were the Aints. You guys dished out a whole lotta trash. But now that the Saints won in your dome, you guys can’t take it. I have never seen such ugliness after a game before. To trash our city, calling it a cesspool is just plain childish and ignorant. I know many Atlantian who love to come to New Orleans at Jazz Feast, Essence, Mardi Gras, etc. New Orleans is unique and a very diverse and multicultural place.
Finally to suggest that GOD sent Katrina to New Orleans and the city should be destroyed next time is appalling and horrendous. Talk about not class. It seems like you guys have the problem with us winning Monday nights game and the Superbowl. All this whinning is nothing but jealousy.

“Remi Ayodele should be fined severely for that statement. Aside from the legalities, what he stated is not a JUSTIFIABLE action from a player, is extremely IGNORANT, and should not be tolerated.”
Howboutdembirds,
You seem to be ignorant of the definition of the word “ignorant” (and “justifiable,” for that matter) since you are clearly using it as an impassioned insult as opposed to the descriptive adjective intended by the context of your ramble. Less intelligent people who speak or write using simple words within the limits of their vocabularies sound far less stupid than people such as yourself who use words they’ve heard other people speak but failed to find out what the words actually mean.
Quit giving them ammo, idiot.

Ok, reading the article again, Pete Prisco says Remi said that as they were running back into the tunnel after the picture. The ENTIRE photo-op thing is on tape and I’ve seen it about a dozen times since Monday. I haven’t seen anything that tells me he pissed on anything other than the Falcons’ pride. Y’all are really grasping if this is going to be your rallying cry for the playoffs. Where was all the hoopla when your thug ass WR was using Katrina as a punchline?

We have always down how dirty folks from New Orleans are. Now they just proved it. How disgusting! Falcons maybe this will teach you a leason and really kick butt. Remember Katrina! I do. Atlanta crime went up, and the houses that were given to these filty low life was just a sample of what the people were like. Take a look at the NFL players that play for the Aint’s! Goodell should punish the whole team, Aint’s owner, staff, coaches and players. Things like this shold not be allowed to happen. What kind of person wants to be associated with a professional of this calibur! I would be so ashamed to be a member of that team – let alone admit I live in that H hole!
To all you Aint’s fans – if you live in Atlanta get your buts back to the hole you came out of – Oleans! To all you in Aint’s land may the blessings of the next storm do you greater justice then Katrina. Hopefully the government will not foot your living expenses for the next 5 years like they did after Katrina.

Mightyyat – you need to go back to the rock you crawled out of! We don’t have to cry for a play off spot and guess what we don’t have to play off the pitty of the nation and have folks paid not to play to win so the Aint’s can win! Atlanta is classier then that. Nothing was said about Katrina by the WR until you low lifes brought it up and put it in the conversation.

Hey “truth”
“Why were there so many people in New Orleans stealing tv and such when their fellow citizens were stranded in their homes? Typical N.O. trash I guess.”
Unfortunately the TRUTH is (something you should know if you are going to use that moniker), that stealing after a disaster is human nature. Let some huge natural disaster or unusual problem happen in Atlanta and you will see that nature come out there as well. There are low-life people in every city who will take advantage of such disasters when they happen.
