Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.
The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.
Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.
The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14 and securing a spot in the playoffs.
After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.
“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”
Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.
In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

saintsbaby—-People go to have a good time and trash the city? That is your argument for New Orleans being a good place? A place so nice that normal people leave after trashing it? And to think people said the educational system in Louisiana wasn’t any good. Did you notice the hint of sarcasm?

Well, I’ve had my fun making another group of Aints fans look like Bayouboy5o4es (that’s the new way of spelling fools for those that don’t know) and now I am going to do something worthwhile. I think that anything you do that doesn’t involve talking to people from New Orleans is a worthwhile endeavor.

FalconsFan284: Businesses do not look for the cheapest venu, they look for the most possible publicity and revenue. New Orleans is one of the most expensive places to host any event. Again do your research. Secondly you go again with this education thing yet none of your responses show you as being educated or a person of class. as for the rest of the fans posting here. You all have been disrespectful towards saintsbaby68, degrading her as if she isn’t someone to be respected. You have all city jokes and very few football related ones. And it seems like this last win really got under your skin. SORRY YA’LL ARE SORE LOSERS, HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER EVENTUALLY . . . . NOT REALLY

Katrina. this ..Katrina that. Google Katrina and get the facts. The eye of the storm missed New Orleans..actually made landfall in another small town SE of New Orleans. The storm surge caused the levees to break. Mississippi had more destruction ..than La. La. had more loss of lives.

Bayouboy5o4—–Speaking as someone that owns a business, has done consulting work for businesses that look to hold events and has an Ivy league education, I can assure you that cost works into everything a business looks to do. The fact of the matter is this, a business could get more publicity if they held their events in New York or Los Angeles or Atlanta or Philly then they could in a mid teens market like New Orleans. I won’t even figure in the greater television exposure of those cities or the more modern architecture. If I were even to consider your argument I would have to ignore the fact that 26 NFL cities have a higher cost of living index then does New Orleans. The number may even be higher then that post Katrina. I’ve held events in New Orleans and I did it because it was among the cheaper cities to do so. Good try though but you have no clue what you are talking about!
You are the poor soul that called me a racist because I insulted your precious city and it’s residents though I said nothing about race. Then you try to get me to tell you what Atlanta’s record has been for the past decade because you made the statement about the Saints being “major contender since 2000.” Now you are trying to give me a lesson on business when you are someone’s employee?

Don’t try to set any rules,
learn to place your periods in the correct spot
Yes it was out of place, but it was a comma idiot.

the difference between a period and a comma.

the players took a picture bbecause it was a significant win..to get them in the playoffs. just as they did in Dallas because they had never played on Thanksgiving and won. It wasn’t even the whole team..just some of the defensive players. The media is twisting this all around..just to hype up this rivalry even more.

I’m a Saints fan and am embarrassed at some of these comments by fellow Saints fans. Shame on ****SAINT****. We’re not all like that and we DO remember the hospitality we received from Atlantans after the hurricane. Now as far as football is concerned, yes the Falcons beat us in the first game by the same margin, but the Saints have the momentum and can take the next game, if there is one.

Really? Really?!! Do we really care why the Saints chose to embarrass themselves after the game Monday night?? Let’s face it: Atlanta is clearly an organization that is on the rise (and, we hope, finally”built-to-last”); New Orleans is a one-hit wonder and will be forgotten (again) soon enough, and; peeing in public is – the last time I checked anyway – pretty much par-for-the-course on Bourbon Street. We should expect nothing less from that franchise. Let’s hope for a rematch, beat them soundly, watch Coach “Shaunee” get on his hands and knees after the game and clean up our logo, then move on…
