Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.
The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.
Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.
The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14 and securing a spot in the playoffs.
After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.
“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”
Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.
In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

The Saints have won four Division titles and two NFC south titles. On Sunday the Falcons will win their fourth and second NFC south title just like the Saints.

Its sad that the Falcons are the only team in the Conference to never win a NFC South title. If only the Saints would have beaten Carolina in 2008, they could’ve won. DAMN Saints. Screwed ‘em again.

The team was named for the great jazz song most identified with New Orleans – “When the Saints Go Marching In”, and it was no coincidence that the franchise’s official birth was announced on November 1, which is the Catholic All Saints’ Day. When the deal was reached a week earlier, Dixon strongly suggested to Rozelle that the announcement be delayed until then. Dixon told an interviewer that he even cleared the name with New Orleans’ Archbishop Philip M. Hannan: “He thought it would be a good idea. He had an idea the team was going to need all the help it could get.”

When this season is over and IF the Saints make it back to Atlanta for a playoff game Matt Ryan will be 3-3 against Drew Brees and the Falcons will also have a Super Bowl win. Then no more of you childish, “we won a Super bowl, we won a Super Bowl”.

@Saints1Fan – learn how to spell. YES has 3 letters, none of which are in the words NFC SOUTH.
Also get your facts straight – Falcons won the South AND the NFC back when your fans were wearing bags on their heads.
Now here’s a funny fact – you guys still haven’t learned about over-celebrating. Clogging a Falcons blog after your team locked up second place is like watching 2 Saints fans watching the replay of a submarine race.

This is a football subject and ya’ll want to talk about of culture and such. I see a lot of you internet thugs and gangsters on here but none of you want to admit your team couldn’t get the job done, plain n simple. Dree Brees never had a good relationship with his mom. Hopefully, he has a better relationship with his kids. Sadly, his mom passed while he was busy disrepecting her in the media as she ran for public office. Now, he has to live with that for the rest of his life. I really feel sorry for him.

“New Orleans Saints Biren Ealy & Kolomona Kapanui Arrested For Public Urination (May 2009)”
Sounds to me as though this just may be a pattern for the Saints. Don’t know if Remi Ayodele realizes he confessed to a crime to a national new organization. Commissioner Goodell perhaps a nice fine and a suspension from the playoffs (for not only Mr. Ayodele but possibly the D-line coach who was in attendance) would teach these “men” a lesson that public lewdness is not something the NFL will tolerate. (Had that been a fan admitting to such, he/she would have been arrested.)

Matty “ICEless” is the greatest quarterback ever to play the game. If there was ever a game I had to have, I would choose him. Unless, I needed someone to actually throw the ball to win the game for me. Not be aided by a referee THROWING a flag.
