Falcons ticked with Saints for posing on their logo

Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.

The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.

Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.

The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14  and securing a spot in the playoffs.

After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.

However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.

“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”

Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.

In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

Claiming to have peed on the Falcons logo isn’t funny. Neither is Hurricane Katrina. Get some perspective, or check into kindergarten or a mental institution.

Go figure, Brees has thrown 21 intercepts, and Ryan has thrown 6. That is a -15 stat, yet the Saints are only 1 game back against the Falcons and they play the exact same schedule, except for 2 games. WOW.

Saints fans think Carolina might beat the Falcons. I think I might win the powerball. The fact is, Falcons are already focusing on sundays gameplan while the Saints are still celebrating a 3 point win. If I had to pick a team to pull the upset, It would definately be T. bay.

Kerry, I know it wasn’t the Falcons back in 1989…that’s because the Falcons have never won a Superbowl, but guess what, the New Orleans Saints won…quick, who won Superbowl 44…yeah, you know who won that one, don’t you..sure wasn’t the Falcons. Who Dat, Mother Trucker, Who Dat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That experience turned out well. The players hung on the beach and messed with the “street walkers” on a business trip. I said it earlier, this team can’t FOCUS.

Saints only drove the field one time and it was in the 4th quarter. The other was given to you on the Falcons 25 yard line. Didn’t have to go far. The Falcons went on two long drives. One they scored on and the other Turner fumbles. Lets say Turner doesn’t fumble on the one and McClure doesn’t fumble the snap at the 25. Lets also say that Brees doesn’t throw a pick 6. Falcons win game 14-10.

That’s funny, because Falcons “fans” had t-shirts made after that flukey week 3 win.

use this to fire up fans and players, so when they come back here in playoffs, they will really be in a hostile playoff place.

Sorry to see my fellow Falcons Fans stoop to the level of the Visiting Team, you know it’s got to be about as low as you can get ( the place is below sea-level and they have to build these levy’s to keep the sewage off the dinner table…. they’re used to it )

If someone actually did what they said on the Logo, # 55 Big Abe will probably rub someone’s nose in it, isn’t that the way folks train their animals when they don’t have the sense to know the proper location to do such? Obviously, I wouldn’t think they would act any different in their own home than they do in someone else’s, right? After Katrina, Atlanta said welcome to our houses, I don’t think that was what we meant when we said ..”Make yourself at home”

I would encourage the sensible Falcons Fans to abstain from engaging in this any further, let the Saints do what they know how to do with their vocabulary and the Football Fans continue to talk Football. I sure hope Carolina can talk sensibly after their visit, come in and play good Football and the Falcons do what the record reflects they can do and Rise Up as NFC South Champions.

You probably have never played football. If you did, you would know that the Panthers have a very good chance of beating your team because of their type of team. Field position, ball possession, run-oriented team, great special teams. The Saints don’t get caught up in single handed wins. Our win against Pittsburgh was bigger than ya’lls game, and we ran 5 additional wins off of that one.

I have watched football. I know what type of quick strike offense the Saints have, and the non-quick strike offense that your team has. As a result, you can’t make mistakes. Also, we are very STOUT against the run. Even with the bad tackling game at Baltimore (203 rushing yards), we are probably ranked #3 vs. the run. Ask Turner about our run defense.

The Falcons don’t have a running game. I wish someone would break down Turner’s stats. He gets a big run every game that makes his yardage look respectable. Most of his runs are 2 yard gains or 1 yard losses.

The players are focused and will not under estimate the Panthers, even tough we beat them 31-10 three weeks ago at their place in Charlotte.

On the other hand, the Aints have lost to teams with losing records namely the Cardinals and Browns.

A little history for the Aints nation. We beat you in 1991 in the playoffs. Go Falcons.

All this talk about the Falcons doing their talking by their play … Turner was stopped in his tracks, and Roddy White was stopped as well … and let me remind you that the Saints would of won the first game had Hartley made that chip-shot FG, so this really should be a Saints sweep, so yes, i do not think the Saints will have any problem beating the birds a 3rd time.

Turner carved the Saints up? LOL. Did he used the two extra drives in overtime to get his yardage up? Because in regulation, the team had just over 100 yards, but ended the game with 201 yards on 50 carries. Go figure.
