Former Falcons defensive line coach Bill Johnson posing with some of the Saints on the Falcons logo after Monday Night's game.
The Falcons are ticked off about the Saints posing for pictures on the team’s logo.
Also, Saints defensive end Remi Ayodele told CBSSportsline’s Pete Prisco that he urinated on the Falcons’ logo.
The Saints were celebrating after beating the Falcons 17-14 and securing a spot in the playoffs.
After the game, the Falcons were unaware of the Saints celebration. The team didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday.
However, one team official, did speak with NewOrleans.com’s Brian Allee-Walsh about the Saints’ celebration.
“Believe me, that didn’t go unnoticed, not just by our players and coaches but by our owner (Arthur Blank) and front office people,” the Falcons’ official said. “It did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered.”
Ironically, if the playoffs break a certain way, the Saints could return to the Georgia Dome for a divisional round playoff game.
In order for the Saints and Falcons to have a rematch at the Georgia Dome, the Falcons need to beat Carolina to secure the top seed. The Saints would then have to beat the NFC West winner in the wildcard round to get a return visit to the Georgia Dome.

They’re [Saints] are a reflection of their coach – childish and silly. All of the little “kiss my ring” bull. Only thing worse would be losing to them again in January.

The Falcons should be offended. Going back out on the field to stomp around on the logo and take pictures is disrespectful. One Saints team “official” said they wanted to “leave their mark on the logo.”
I don’t even get into what Remi Ayodele said he did on the logo – and I don’t believe for a minute that he was misquoted. He would have said, “we,” instead of, “I.”
But, hey, that’s OK. If they want to celebrate being the No. 5 seed and being on the road for the entire playoffs like they would a Super Bowl, that’s on them.
Maybe they’ll get lucky and get back to the Dome in the playoffs.

Darn!!
The next time these two teams meet, I don’t think the Aint’s will have any anything to celebrate.
I beleive the offense kept things simple for a reason, they knew they would met agin with a lot more at stake the next time. Falcons are doing great. Keep up the good work guys!!!!

Please don’t comment or respond to this obvious provocation. Just win next time we play these guys and all the talk will end. Just win, baby!

I hope they do get to come back so our Falcons can spank that butt. I also hope the league fines the payers for the urine thing as that is nasty and not a good image for the NFL. Every dog has his day, one way or the other.

It’s pretty classless and really disgraceful if what they reported was correct. There is something to be said about handling yourself with a sense of respect no matter what profession you are involved (or work in). They just added a bit of additional fuel to the Falcons fire when the Saints come back to the Atlanta (for there playoff match up).

Typical behavior from low class idiots. The Saints and their fans mirror one another. What do you expect from morons that live in a city built below sea level.

Now if the Remi dude did in fact urinate on the emblem, shouldn’t he be arrested for incident exposure or public indecency if the Saints have to return to the Georgia Dome?

Remi Ayodele should be fined severely for that statement. Aside from the legalities, what he stated is not a justifiable action from a player, is extremely ignorant, and should not be tolerated. True, or just a joke, it was very crude and I hope Goodell look into this. There is a difference in a friendly rivalry, and taking things too far. The picture does not bother me, but to state that he urinated… that takes it to another level.

How did the Falcons celebrate their 3 point win over the Saints in the Dome? Was there any similar activity? As a Pats fan since childhood (but big Falcon fan since Gritz-Blitz), I don’t remember the Patriots acting this way after they one their first SB. They usually did their talking on the field. I guess that is an indication of the Coach. So like him or not, Belichik really instills an attitude on the team that usually keeps them from this silly stuff that provides Locker Room fodder. I guess the Saints are really confident about being able to beat the Falcs a third time if it happens . . ..as they don’t seem to care about getting the Atlanta fans/team riled up.

be careful be careful be careful!!! This is the kind of thing where brawls occur on the field before the game starts. Players can get ejected for 1 or more games. I’d hate to lose Roddy White before the game even starts.

That is definitely asking for it!

All that I know is that it has become very sad indeed to have pathetic, loser organizations like the Falcons and the Saints being mentioned for anything other than their years of losing. I guess this is what happens when class organizations like the Cowboys and the Redskins are bought out by money grubbing egomaniacs who do not know a thing about fielding a team. The Eagles have a felon at a qb, the 49ers are beyond confused and Eli Manning is well… Eli Manning. This leaves a vaccuum at the top for the likes of the Falcons and the Saints. At least the AFC is in order with proper teams such as the Steelers, Patriots and Ravens. It doesn’t really matter whether the Saints or the Falcons take their loser teams to the Super Bowl. Neither of them will beat either of the three aforementioned AFC teams. Just the way that it is.

1 more thing….Are there 24 hr cameras inside the dome? What if it is true and a youtube video were to show up showing Ayodele urinating on the logo?
This really crosses the line. If these 2 teams play in the dome in a few weeks…the refs and Goodell are going to have a big big problem on there hands.

Teams have done this sort of thing all the time for personal memorabilia.(in the Saints Linebacker meeting rooms there are similiar photos and one from this year in Dallas on Turkey day…the Steelers did it in the playoffs in 1975 ..the Niners did it in Dallas in 1981-2 season after the “Hail Mary” pass…
All I can say is Roddy White should have never open his big mouth and disrespected the Saints and the city of N.O….gave the Saints more of a reason to take photos…

I was at the game and I was still in the stands when they came out of the tunnel and took their pictures. Thought it was classless and yes I hope we do remember it when they come back. Also, if Ayodele did urinate on the logo he should not be to proud of it because being a black man you would think more people would have noticed. We may have to nickname him stubby from this point on.

D Led, if there’s evidence, video or physical, the APD should indeed arrest Ayodele’s sorry self the moment he steps of the charter flight at hartsfield and charge him with indecent exposure and defacing property. I’m not sure, but does anyone know if indecent exposure in georgia puts the perp on a sex offenders’ list? That’d be even better.
