D-Led: Can you check something…I’m a 20-year season ticket holder and am wonder, when (not if) the Falcons get to the Superbowl, will season ticket holders have the opportunity to purchase tickets? What’s the process that will be used (or was used in 1998)?

Mwilk… season ticket holders will be put into a lottery for a chance to purchase super bowl tickets when the Falcons make it. You will receive information on your season ticket account if you are selected. This information can be found here http://tickets.atlantafalcons.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/PlayoffInvoiceBrochure2010.new_.pdf ….. Good Luck

Saints! Take your pity party elsewhere!! Like White said, “This is our Year!” You will be in a hostile environment and territory. Falcons will take and earn your RESPECT!

No apology was needed, but I’m glad Roddy White did it to appease the Atlanta media. Check out the comments from his teammates. None of them had a problem with it; Coach Smith even told him to be himself.
Notice how no one talks about Jonathan Vilma on Twitter calling Falcons fans “stupid” (White only called Saints fans “rude”). No one talks about the Saints “fans” using profanity, homophobic slurs, racial slurs and threats of physical violence toward Falcons players and fans.
Do you think White’s apology stopped any of that? I’m sure it didn’t.
That’s OK. Despite what their fans and Vilma may think, all that matters is 60 minutes on the field in the Georgia Dome Monday night. They can call names, curse, insult and make threats all they want. Even if the Saints should win, it doesn’t give them a better record, it doesn’t give them the division and it doesn’t give them home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

For one thing its not sincere and the damage is already done. But it is a reflection of a lot shxt I have heard ignorant azzes in ATL utter about the city. But that’s all right. Kick that azz come Monday Saints. Bisssh.

Chris, what about this season leads you to believe that will be the case? Is it NO’s 10-4 record vs Atlanta’s 12-2? Is it the fact that NO lost to the Falcons the first time? Is it Atlanta’s undefeated record at home? Is it the Saints’ 354 points scored compared to the Falcons’ 369, or perhaps NO’s 370 points allowed while Atlanta’s at 361? Better yet, could it be the Saints’ -5 turnover margin vs the Falcons’ +13?
See ya at the game.

Mwilk,
I’m a 21 year season ticket holder too and as I recall this has no effect on Super Bowl tickets. Because no one is sure who will be in it until 2 weeks before the actual game, the Super Bowl is an independent game with tickets available to anyone who has the money. I believe every team gets a certain allotment for personnel and every team is given same number of lottery tickets for their fans but this boils down to the luck of the draw. Perhaps someone or DOL can provide actual specifics.
As a comedic side note. Within 30 minutes of Morton Anderson’s game winning kick against the Vikings in January of 1999, due to temporary insanity, I has purchased two 50 yard line seat to Super Bowl XXXIII for a very good price of…….$7500.00
My wife didn’t find this very funny!

Dont worry about tickets- you won’t be going to the super bowl. I will tell you though, as a Saint’s fan, the Super Bowl was a lot of fun….winning was great.
Do any of you know if those dirty birds will be having MC Hammer on the sideline again for Monday’s game? That was very cool. In those cool pants. What a city…..
