SEATTLE – The Falcons can send thank you cards to Michael Vick and his boys.
The Philadelphia Eagles dramatic 38-31 victory over the New York Giants helped the Atlanta Falcons clinch a playoff berth on Sunday, even before their game with Seattle was over.
The Falcons season ticket holders have until Tuesday to exercise their option to purchase playoff tickets. Playoff tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday.

Stendek . . .. .Seahawks have been mostly down this year . . . .but I’ve often heard analysts indicate how tough it is to play them at home. I guess you could say that for many teams . . . . . but they seemed to put special emphasis on the difference of Seahawks at home vs on the road.

Ryan 3rd TD today! It’s funny the only thing the Eagles did today after the Giants rolled over was to welcome Bres and the New Orleans Saints to Philly for the first round. The Bears will win out and they will receive a first round bye with the Falcons. The Saints will kick them all over the field.

As a Falcon fan since 1966, I’m used to the last couple games having no meaning – but not in the sense that the #1 seed is iced with 2 meaningless games to go.
Hope folks don’t get too depressed if we lose next Monday night. After Saints wild card team beats the NFCF WEST so called champs, we will face them again after they bye. So don’t expect the Birds to show much on MNF as it will really be a vanilla attack and likewise on D.
