Falcons running back Michael Turner (33) looks for room to run against the Rams. AP
FLOWERY BRANCH – The Falcons game at Tampa Bay on Dec. 5 has been moved from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m on Fox.
The NFL will utilize “flexible scheduling” on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling will ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:15 p.m. time slot on CBS and FOX.

WTF….this f3cks with every fan that already made flight arrangements to go to Tampa for the game, including me and 10 other friends that were going. They should have thought about this and not announce sh1t like this less than 2 weeks away from kickoff!

Odds on over / under calls for 47 – my bet is “way over” – the Packers are good – Our DB’s and defense better come ready to play for long ball offensive game – if we shut down Rogers then the”under” is the way to bet – the real key is “can our offense dominate the way we have these past weeks”, against that tenacious Packer defense??
why not

They cannot change the Falcons vs Green Bay game at this time. I believe that there are stipulations on changing the time of games and you need to give a certain amount of notice (you know in case you decide to travel or something). I believe it is too late to change the time of the GB game or I honestly think they would.

In order to move a game the NFL must give the venue 12 days notice, so that staff has notice who are working the game, ie security, food vendors, the packers game will definitely be at 1pm

FOX has the doubleheader for the next 2 weeks. The 4:15 game for FOX this week is EAGLES @ BEARS which is a quality game, so FOX won’t move the PACKERS @ FALCONS game. Week 13 has no marquee game for FOX in the latter time slot so that’s why the FALCONS @ BUCS game was moved.

If you planned a trip to Tampa with such a close window knowing about the flex schedule, then you’re an idiot. If you didn’t know about the flex scheduling… you’re still an idiot. Of course, I think anyone who would spend the money to fly to an away game is an idiot. You probably got your house foreclosed on you too!

Can you believe the NFC South this year? Insane how good three teams are. I’m glad we are playing them in our space now that they are healthier. It seems odd to have only played two of our division games this late in the season with both Carolina’s still to come.

The frustrating thing about a 4:15 start is that those of us who go to church on Sunday nights can’t watch the end of the game. If the game starts at 1, we can see the whole thing.

We’re watching for a move of the Packers game but don’t think it will happen. The TB @ BAL game was already moved and the Sunday night game is IND @ SD.
Me thinks the Sunday game will get the national crew for 1:00. As CMS asked – please be in your seat on time and ready to make some noise.

Forget the Packers/Falcons game moving. It is the national 1pm game on Fox.
You can see the coverage here: http://the506.com/sports/?tag=2010-week-12
Also, note the 4pm Fox game is Bucs/Ravens.
Is 4pm start all of a sudden a coveted starting time?
I dont see any of the other Falcons games being moved either. Neither Carolina game carries national draw, the Seahawks game is already @ 4pm EST, and the NO game is MNF so….the schedule is pretty much set now.
