1. Control the offensive and defensive line
2. Put pressure on the Ram’s rookie QB
3. Control the time of possession with the running game.

It would be nice if everyone left their keys to the game. I’ll try to monitor for the trolls and keep this focused on the game.
November 18th, 20104:59 pm
1. Pressure Sam Bradford
2. Big Special Teams Play on the Road
3. Keep Chris Long in Check
November 18th, 20105:05 pm
Use the run to set up quick passes. Max protect if and when they throw downfield. No turnovers.
Rams have scored 30 points once; the other 8 games 20 points or less. Don’t let the Rams play over their heads and the Falcons will be fine.

D Led, God Bless ya, bro, but it’s amazing how much you sound like Barney Fife explaining something out of the deputy’s handbook. How about some analysis of some of the Falcons plays against the Rams D?
(I love Barney Fife. –dol)

I am not an expert, just a die hard fan, but here are three things I would like to see:
1. Kill the quick pass to the sideline…I have never seen it work
2. Never throw the ball for less than 1st down yardage on third down
3. More screen passes to Snelling
November 18th, 20106:29 pm
I’m laughing out loud too. Come next sping, little Desean Jackons will be sprouting out of the PHI feild.
November 18th, 20106:39 pm
D Led, thought you asked to keep it on the game… just a reminder to you #7 lovers (not to take anything from the talent of the guy, he’s awesome), but Ryan and2 #1’s for a guy who let his ego (almost) destroy a team? I don’t think so! Hope we do play them with Vick. We’ll beat them… our house or theirs.
(I’m just catching up to the madness. This is a Falcons blog. He plays for the Eagles. –dol)
Resign or Re-Sign?
November 18th, 20107:00 pm
1. Control SJackson
2. Control SBradford
3. Run the ball with Turner/Snelling
November 18th, 20107:07 pm
3 Keys for the RAMS:
1. Referees that know when a receiver pushes off a cornerback, i.e. get unbiased refs!
2. Referees that can see a when both the offensive player and the defensive player grab each other’s facemask simultaneously, i.e., get unbiased refs!
3. Referees that throw phantom penalty flags on falcan’t opponents, i.e., get unbiased refs!

Seen you sure are one whiney young man!!! You have amnesia now huh? All those calls that went the Saints way last year. How quickly we do forget.
November 18th, 20107:43 pm
1. Hit hard but not all the time(just show them who is the boss. )
2. Use HD more(needs 3rd receiver(diffrent look.))
3. Keep them off balance.
November 18th, 20108:11 pm
I would love for this to have remained a purely football blog; but I just could not let LOL’s comments slide by. He insults the present Falcons, their fans and the owner. Someone has to oppose that position if DOL refuses to ban him.
November 18th, 20108:15 pm
You must have gone to school in Philly: “I glad”; QBs “throw” interceptions, not “through”. As far as Ryan’s passing ability and depending solely on Turner: did you even see the Ravens game?
November 18th, 20108:33 pm
I’d really like to watch these videos but all I get is a message saying it can’t be viewed in the country I’m in (Australia). Weird. I have no problem with any other overseas news site video, just the AJC.
(Dominic, I will check into this for you. –dol)

To the trolls………………….
Wyatt Earp: What makes a man like Ringo, Doc? What makes him do the things he does?
Doc Holliday: A man like Ringo has got a great big hole, right in the middle of him. He can never kill enough, or steal enough, or inflict enough pain to ever fill it.
Wyatt Earp: What does he need?
Doc Holliday: Revenge.
Wyatt Earp: For what?
Doc Holliday: Bein’ born.

Seen, phantom calls and no calls when they should have been called are basically the same. And the Saints got away with a LOT of no calls. If you want to verify go and look at your games from last year…I am not going to do it for ya buddy!
November 19th, 20102:29 am
I agree with one of the earlier posters about the quick pass to the WR standing at the sidelines.
One of the analysts called it WR screen pass.
It is a NCAA play, that Ga. was using a lot.
It almost never works.
November 19th, 20102:48 am
SeenB4@..7;07..&..7:43pm………Concerning the winning TD play against the Ravens, Roddy White definitely would have been penalized in that same situation, if that game had been against the saints, in 2009. Har dee har har. Silly saintsfans.
Keep on crying.

Right on D-Led.
Hey here are my three keys 1) I hope Grimes had a good week at practice learning how to get his body into position. Probably not enough practice so 2) a healthy Weatherspoon will have to take up some of the slack for poor Grimes leading to 3) Lofton will have to be sharp spotting Steven Jackson and stopping the run scientifically.
So it’s all about the linebackers and Grimes.

Lucky, there is also freedom of deletion, which is US vs. D-Led was found to be a form of speech itself. I love the 1st amendment.
