Sid: As you yourself have said, Stats don’t mean much, just ask the Chargers.
*******************************************
I never said that “stats don’t mean much” but I can agree you would think the Chargers would be better than 3-5 being 1st in Total Offense, Total Defense, Passing, and Passing Defense, 5th in Points, 2nd in Rushing Defense.
But saying stats don’t mean much, nope. Maybe I said misleading, but stats tell a huge part of the story. But there are no stats for blown calls, clock mismangement, coaches ignorant challenges (see Mike Tomllin), bad play calling, the list goes on and on.

Seen, good comment on Favre…………..but in the defense of the running backs they have much more exposure to futher injury and have to put more torque on their legs, Favre can just take a nose dive. Still a gutty performance by Favre.

The Saints only have one legitimate contender left on their schedule, and that’s a road game,
