Tight end Robbie Agnone making a catch at for the Delaware Blue Hens.
Southland Conference honors.
Agnone, 6-6, 260 pounds, was injured in practice on Wednesday. He was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Washington Redskins in 2009. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad after being waived as part of the final roster cut downs.

Sid are you ok, WTH does 4th down conversions prove that your developing QB can’t move the ball on the first 3 downs, & that he’s having trouble executing the gameplan WOW great observation !!!!!
*****************************************************************************
I have been out of pocket since then and wanted to respond with some stats since you never back up your crap with any. Not that I think you will be able to comprehend it but it does speak for itself.
The Atlanta Falcons are #1 in the NFL in 3rd down conversions
The Redskins are ranked 31st, that be damn near last.

Hey Wash, did you know that Ryan had the highest Wunderlic score ever recorded in the NFL scouting combine.
Now, I know that for you, Wunderlic is a whole different thing………..and thanks, I’ll pass, but the Wunderlic I’ll exlplain for you is an intelligence test, Marcus Vick had one of the lowest ever recorded.

i have been a big falcons fan for years. back in 98, i went to the super bole and saw it live. i dont think we need to support the falcons this season, and until we fans pull all together, the owners will not give us what we want. it all make some cents now. while we taking naps at the wheel, the falcon management staff is look to replace my main man tony G. i think it a shame when we our reel need is QB. we are not nothing until we get our QB situation in hand. what we should focus on is getting a reel QB like mike vick instead of some puppet with string like we have now. ryan look like a third string QB and chokes when the opposite team puts any preasure on him at all. what happened to our punter? he is a shame to all us loyal falcons fans. and now we need to also get us a backup RB to help out what used to be a burner. dont get me wrong. snelling is OK but if we had someone like vick, we would not be in the situation we are in running the ball. vick is a all around QB who can also catch the ball as well as; running the ball. he probably has the strongest arm in the world. next season he is going to be free agent and we could sign him back, then watch out, we going to play in the super bole. but then what will do with ryan you might ask? we will trade him to the raiders for a third and forth round pick because that is all he worth. we need to get his some real time DB in the backfield. we make som huge mistakes by letting deaangelo and big play ray leave. now our only hope is to get dante robinson healthy, because grimes can’t cover my grandmother. so wake up and lets try salvnage the season and get on or two wins. if we can get to 500, i will be happy. then we can look and fixing our mistakes in the offseason.

we need to be more agressive on both sides of the ball and on offence and defence. if we had vick, we could easily be 5 and 2 instead we look like the jets of old struggling just to run on field at the start of the game. we need to hold our heads up and be proud.

Come on James…are you really still hung up on Vick? It doesn’t matter how good he is. He can’t help the team sitting on the bench with an injury. He will never make it through an entire season without an injury. What do you mean we could be 5 and 2? We are 5 and 2.

Seen, it was a pretty good game, congrats, you’ll make it thru the week, sadly for us.
But neither of those teams will get to the big dance……………….seriously, neither.
Brees seemed to get back on track against the Steelers “24th” ranked pass defense. Ain’ts defense looked great against the Steelers offense ranked 27th in yards, 29th in passing. Little Ben is still rusty, what, only his 2nd game back from suspension. 5-3 is not awful at all and the fact is if they lose “any” of their next 5 games they are only pretenders, not contenders. Polamalu didn’t grade out like he usually does, he actually seemed slow last night. The Aint’s still don’t have a running game, maybe the Heisman loser will be back next week. Anyway, I am sure you are jumping around in your skirt and all giddy, no doubt we will hear about it all week.

Sid: As you yourself have said, Stats don’t mean much, just ask the Chargers.
I will concede one thing to ya, Sid, and that’s regarding Reggie who is nursing his 25 year old fibula with a hairline crack for six weeks, Pierre Thomas who is nurturing his 25 year old sprained ankle for five weeks, Porter who is pampering his 24 year old nicked up knee for four weeks to date and Greer who is babying his 28 year old shoulder for the third week.
NONE OF THEM HAVE THE GUTS THAT 41 YEAR BRETT FAVRE HAS, and I am NO Brett Favre fan! 41 year old Brett Favre starts on a double fractured ankle, and these boys are sitting on the sidelines. Something wrong with that picture. And then, they talk about giving 110% during the week!! LOL! Yeah right! Wanna make a bet on who is in uniform next week and who isn’t?
Saints won on defense last night, and special teams. The offense showed up for the second half, but that was about it.
BUT, I see them using this game as a rallying point, and should win out.
The Saints only have one legitimate contender left on their schedule, and that’s a road game, should be able to handle the rest with ease. They have only one tough road game left, gonna be difficult to get that W, and that’s against the Ravens in December.
GEAUX SAINTS! OUR TIME!!
