both ocho & TO are overrated. they might score a td or two but look for the Birds to win by at least 7. Gotta love playing at home plus they’re pissed after last weeks slap in the face by Philly. I am a little concerned with Spoon & Dunta out though. May cause a problem.

Chad Johnson is washed up. With his mouth always open the wind drag has slowed him down.

T.O. is also washed up.

They’re both self promoters who are always tooting their own horn.

Will Rogers said, “Have someone else blow your horn, the sound travels farther.”

Seems to me playing against the Falcons’ shoddy defense will only delude Johnson and Owens into thinking they still got it.

Our Falcons 4 and 2 record is a shanked field goal and a Roddy White’s strip away from being a 2 and 4 record – and 2 and 4 is a helluva lot more indicative of the quality of this team, if you ask me.

We are not a very good. Matt Ryan is beginning to look more and more like JaMarcus Russell without all of mama’s home cooking. Heck, my wife can pick out a new pair of shoes in less time than it takes Matty Nice to find an open receiver not named Tony Gonzalez. Sam Baker plays left tackle like he’s practicing to be a bull fighter. This team is depressing. And we got the ugliest uni’s in the league this side of the Tennessee Titans. At least the Titans can play the game.

Andy Reid’s comments last week proved to be nothing more than smoke-blowing. He knows what’s up with the Birds We got no downfield passing game; Michael Turner is the “Burner” only in brief spurts; our offense scares absolutely nobody and our special teams are middling at best.

Bring back Samuel L. Jackson for another commercial. He owes us a freaking apology.

I understand Dled created this blog so falcon fans can throw shots at T.O and OCHO.Nobody plays in this league who is so called washed up,this is the nfl. While you all are taking shots, just keep in mind those two washed up players are going up against owens 5′9 and grimes 5′10.When they get scorched i want Dled to create another blog on why the falcons will not spend money$$$ on real CBs.

John is one of the ever pessimistic fans. The Birds could win the Super Bowl and he would find things to complain about. We’ve all known guys like this and you find yourself distancing yourself from them.

A hex on your T.V., John. (Just watch HEIDI.)

Too bad you didn’t wish this curse on me last week. I would have been spared the pathetic spectacle of the Eagles game. And if my TV had blown up (rather that suffering my bottle of Miller Genuine Draft being tossed through the screen) I could file an insurance claim for the loss.

More power to you though. A true believer – and a paying customer, too.

I am a band-wagon jumping, fair weather fan. And I gotta tell you, the 2010 iteration of the Birds leaves me cold.

People, as usual, are letting their personal likes and dislikes get in the way of determining how good a player is. Neither TO nor 85 are washed up. Carson Palmer, on the other hand, is — and this is why that offense has been inconsistent despite all its firepower.

Washed up. CJ was never a real top tier receiver. He was among the better second tier players in the league for a number of years. He’s known more for his antics than his skills as a receiver.

Man, I love the Falcons. GOD KNOWS I DO but you all have to admit. Matt Ryan is too predictable. Turner is no burner and wanna be Jamal Anderson. ABE is slipping big time. My Aunt can hold a block better than Sam Baker. Grimes got hella heart but too small. Jenkins can’t get open. Norwood is soft as fly paper. These birds just can’t soar. Philly pulled the cover off. Damn..and I really did like those Samuel L. Jackson commercials. Damn…here we go again.

Wait a minute, Mr. Negative. For the sake of accuracy, Jenkins had a very good first game back from injury last week. Norwood has been out for the season since game one.

I think Roddy White has become a much improved player. White is now a pro bowl player. White still makes stupid mistakes at times, but he has minimized them and has become a solid receiver. Because of Whites alerts play in the SF game, the Falcons stole that game and are 5-2 in first by themselves, instead of 4-3. Whats great about the Falcons 5-2 record is that THEY HAVE STILL NOT PLAYED A COMPLETE FOUR QUARTERS OF FOOTBALL YET. If the Falcons had done that they would have been sitting at 7-0. The Falcons are capable of being an elite team. They must have consistent play throughout four quarters of football to be considered that. They are close but there is still room for improvement.
