FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson remains under the league’s concussion protocol, but is being listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals at the Georgia Dome.

Robinson could still be cleared by an independent doctor later today or Saturday. By putting a questionable tag on him, the Falcons are holding out hope that Robinson will be cleared to face the Bengals and their two celebrity receivers, Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco.

Also, running back Antone Smith (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the game.

Tight end Justin Peelle (sports hernia surgery) and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (right knee sprain) will not play on Sunday.

If Robinson, who was fined $50,000 for a hit on Philadelphia’s DeSean Jackson, is not cleared, second-year man Christopher Owens will start at right cornerback. Veteran Brian Williams would take over Owens’ duty as the nickel back.

Cincinnati cornerback Johnathan Joseph (ankle) was added to the Friday injury report. He was listed as questionable.

Defensive end John Fanene (hamstring) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (knee) were also listed as questionable.

The Bengals will be without running back Brian Leonard (thigh), safety Roy Williams (knee) and defensive end Antwan Odom (suspended).

Out  = definitely will not play

Doubtful  = at least 75% chance will not play

Questionable = 50-50 chance will not play

Probable = virtual certainty will be available for normal duty

All Clubs are required to provide the NFL office and issue to local media the names of injured players who missed any portion of 11-on-11 team work on Friday (and updated on Saturday and Sunday, if applicable).

I have a bad feeling about this. Let’s just hope we can score more than they do and go into the bye with some momentum. The NFC’s ripe for the taking.

I have a GOOD feeling about this. The Bengals lost to Tampa Bay after all.

Well hell I’ll take the middle cautious feeling then. Way they’ve played nobody is an easy win but…on the other hand they’re lights out at home if….you discount the 49er game. Matt Ryan can not turn the ball over in this game.

If we can force one turnover on defense this game is a lock … otherwise its gonna be a shoot out and i dont think that personnel-wise / injury-wise that favors us… That being said, we always run the ball good in the dome so if that keeps continues we can keep their guys off the field… hate to say it but i expect another vs SanFran kinda game… let your nails grow…

Grinch: Agreed – the NFC IS ripe for the taking.

Let’s just hope we get to use the other 473 pages of the playbook this week.

The game is blacked out in the Savannah area, picking up Jacksonville instead (ugh). Does anyone know where I can watch online?
