FLOWERY BRANCH– The Falcons will visit four different metro Atlanta schools to promote good health and fitness as part of the “NFL Play 60″ campaign on Tuesday.

At the schools, the players will be involved in a varietiy of activities including, jump rope, shuttle run, push-ups and sit-ups. The Falcons are only NFL team that is involving its entire team.

The Falcons will also be visiting four other public stops, where they will surprise fans, sign autographs and thank them for their support.

During the 12th annual NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle, a series of volunteer projects implemented on the same day in NFL cities nationwide, teams will be rebuilding playgrounds, hosting youth football clinics, and helping kids stay active for 60 minutes a day as part of “NFL PLAY 60”, the League’s youth health and fitness campaign.

Joe- Maybe these “loosers” could teach you about grammar. Better yet, go address them as “loosers” and maybe they’ll teach you something else.

Baba- Don’t waste your time. Joe Tess is the undisputed most moronic character on any AJC blog.

Wow, DOL, this is great and everything, but did the Falcons ask you to post this today to defray your column from being a launching point for more Falcons criticism?

D Falcons — I don’t answer to the Falcons. They have their own website. This was written way before the game and time stamped for Monday morning.

Thanks, DOL, that’s a relief to know because they did community service in Philly all day yesterday.

…the ‘Birds just are not that good – we lost to a good team that was playing its 3rd string QB; we crushed a bad AZ team; we beat NO only because their placekicker went”stupid” in OT; we barely beat a really bad SF team only because they had a DB who went brain dead after he fumbled away a game saving INT; NO lost to that really bad AZ team; we barely beat a bad Cleveland team; and we got pummeled by a good Philly team. So, in all likelihood, except for dumb luck, this team should be 1-5, not 4-2.

Time to say “maybe next year”…

Whatever you GA Haters DeSean Jackson would have scored 5 TDs against you scrubs if you wouldn’t have put a bounty out on him. Look like Mike Smith was running Madden 11 defense out there hahaha lol. P.S. the Falcons are who Andy Reid thought they were ! Matty Ice would be third string in Philly lol

Deshaun Jackson really thinks he scored five touchdowns after that shot. They had to slow him down and that is one effective way to do it. It was a good hit though.

Folks, even in ‘98, the Super Bowl year, we got blown out by the Jets 28-3. That was game 7. Let’s not get so down on the Big Red Birds just yet, okay?
