When will the Birds get any respect? All the media, and even the ‘Aints players, are saying the ‘Aints lost the game rather than the Birds won! Everyone stresses the mistakes the ‘Aints made rather than the play of the Falcons. Beat the ‘Noners Sunday badly and wake them all up! GO BIRDS!!

the play of that game was not the winning FG (take 3) nor either of the TD throws or picks nor even the fluke punt turnover – it was, w/o question, Matt Ryan picking up that meager yard & 1/2 on shear will despite being stuffed 2 yds behind the line! nobody argues the old adage “you can’t coach speed” but I don’t think you can coach that kind of force of will either!

OH YEA-The only thing you could possibly be disappointed about when it comes to your belief that Obama running our economy into the ground is he’s doing a far, far, far worse job of running our economy into the ground than the 2 Conservative minded Republican presidents that preceded him, known as the 2 BUSH(WHACKERS).
Anyone with the idea that President Obama is responsible for all of our current economic problems, even though he’s been in office less than 2yrs, has some serious issues when it comes to thinking rationally. And anyone that’s stupid enough to think President Obama is totally responsible for all of the problems that took place the 8 yrs before he took office, when our government was under the control of Conservative(CURRUPT, CROOKED)George W, and his Republican posse, has to be stupid enough to believe CHILDREN CAN GIVE BIRTH TO THEIR PARENTS.

This is not the quick veiw 30 minute replay that every game is rebrodcast on the NFL Network but the 75 minute version that is the entire game minus the commericals breaks, timeouts, delays for reviews and everything else that makes a 60 minute game three and a half hours long.

It is funny that everyone wants to blame Bush for everything. The state of the economy isn’t his fault. Just like it wasn’t Clinton’s genius that made it great. During Clinton’s tenure there were huge technological advances that created jobs, taxes, investment opportunities, etc. During Bush’s administration we were going through the maturing phase of this technological boom that made the economy so great. Instead of technology creating jobs it started destroying certain industries. This created a domino effect sending the economy into a downward spiral. Americans in no way were prepared for this because of the idiotic practices of savings to debt. It’s not going to be Obama’s fault for fixing or further hurting the economy.

The fact of the matter: The Falcons SHOULD have lost this game. Only a big time blown field goal allowed them the chance for score their final points. Maybe it is because Falcons fans are so starved for a winner that a fluke victory is enough to cause them to lose their minds. Ok, I’m glad the Falcons won, but I’m not deceived. The Falcons really haven’t proved all that much, yet. They didn’t lose, yes. But are they destined to be, say, 12-4? I don’t think so, not by what I’ve seen so far.

Wow GwinnettDad. What a buzz-killer! The game I saw had the Falcons physically kicking the Saints butts all over the field, while conversely, the Saints made some good skill plays that made the game close. There were about equal number of blunders on both sides (missed field goal, the punt hitting the foot, etc) to make the game close. IT WAS A VERY CLOSE GAME, LEGITIMATELY. So I don’t think one can say the Falcons didn’t deserve to win. They won a very, very good close game. (Look at it this way, IF the ball had not hit the foot on the punt, it probably would not have gone to O.T…………………..if IF’s and BUT’s were candy and nuts, we could all have a great party.)
GwinnettDad

5:18 pm
Falcon Jim, pretend that we’ve been there before, OK? Oh, and I’m real sorry if I some how debuzzed your buzz. Depending upon the other team missing a field goal does not make a Super Bowl champion. Total yards were 417-398 for the Falcons, Drew Brees was 30-38 with a QB rating of 111, better than Ryan’s 108 (still good). If this is your example of “kicking butt,” then nothing I can say will change the dreamworld from where you come.

GwinnettDad, only sees the bad…
After the missed FG, the Saints defense had 9 opportunities to stuff the Falcons and get the ball back. If the Falcons were as incompetent as you seem to think they are, then, they never would have gotten in field goal range to win the game anyway. The Saints missed FG didn’t end the game.
All summer long, all I heard about the Saints was, “best offense in the NFL and now their defense is much improved.” Yet, Atlanta won in the Saints house, because their D couldn’t get it done when they needed it the most.
