The Falcons winning gives us something to smile about while Obama runs our economy into the ground. Keep it going Atlanta!

When will the Birds get any respect? All the media, and even the ‘Aints players, are saying the ‘Aints lost the game rather than the Birds won! Everyone stresses the mistakes the ‘Aints made rather than the play of the Falcons. Beat the ‘Noners Sunday badly and wake them all up! GO BIRDS!!

Yasinskas on the NFC South blog (ESPN) has given the Falcons credit for their win and said that they beat the Saints straight up. I think everybody knows that had the Saints actually won they would have stolen one from us….

Got to love condensed versions of games. Seeing it all in 75 minutes as opposed to three-plus hours is great.

the play of that game was not the winning FG (take 3) nor either of the TD throws or picks nor even the fluke punt turnover – it was, w/o question, Matt Ryan picking up that meager yard & 1/2 on shear will despite being stuffed 2 yds behind the line! nobody argues the old adage “you can’t coach speed” but I don’t think you can coach that kind of force of will either!

You hit the nail on the head, jakesdad. That would be “tough-as-nails” Ryan. He’s poised to show the Vick-lovers on this blog and in this town he really is the real deal. Also got to love the two CLUTCH throws on 4th down.
What an amazing game. Game of the day without question.

Ugh, can we please keep politics off the sports blogs?!?!? Politics has absolutely NOTHING to do with football!! Jakesdad, I totally agree with you. I loved Ryan’s fire and determination in the game Sunday. I wish the haters would get off his back, and realize how lucky we are to have him for our QB.

What in the HAIL do Obama or Bush have to do with the Falcons-Saints?? Take your political agendas over to the politics blogs. Unbelievable.
I was there on Sunday and it was absolutely AMAZING. The Superdome was loud as fark and I have to give Aints fans credit for that. Even more credit however goes to the Falcons for stepping up with a bigtime performance in a hostile environment.

Mave2124, did you watch Sunday’s game closely?! Dunta Robinson made several big plays in that game that broke up a couple of potential TD plays for the Saints, had it not for his great tackles, the Saints would be leading the Falcons at the end of Regular session instead of tied. He deserves every penny of the 56 Mil.

OH YEA-The only thing you could possibly be disappointed about when it comes to your belief that Obama running our economy into the ground is he’s doing a far, far, far worse job of running our economy into the ground than the 2 Conservative minded Republican presidents that preceded him, known as the 2 BUSH(WHACKERS).
Anyone with the idea that President Obama is responsible for all of our current economic problems, even though he’s been in office less than 2yrs, has some serious issues when it comes to thinking rationally. And anyone that’s stupid enough to think President Obama is totally responsible for all of the problems that took place the 8 yrs before he took office, when our government was under the control of Conservative(CURRUPT, CROOKED)George W, and his Republican posse, has to be stupid enough to believe CHILDREN CAN GIVE BIRTH TO THEIR PARENTS.

One thing I want to watch more closely tonight is that punt that went off DeCoud. I know it hit his leg when he was in bounds, but I think it also may have hit his back after that when he was out of bounds. I want to see that replay again.

PTC Dawg,
This is not the quick veiw 30 minute replay that every game is rebrodcast on the NFL Network but the 75 minute version that is the entire game minus the commericals breaks, timeouts, delays for reviews and everything else that makes a 60 minute game three and a half hours long.

@Tommy, that’s right, Brees rarely threw it to his left because he knew Dunta is there covering it. All of the big plays they made in that game were to the right side where someone else was covering.

This is a falcons blog.LOL But since we’re on the subject, its funny how people have such short memories about this country. obama is not doing anything the ones before him didnt set up. Politics are like the WWE. On camera they hate each other, and off camera they go have a beer together. Two wings of the same bird. Wake up. This is much bigger than just what obama is doing and he been in the works for decades but culminating now.
ANYWAY, back to the REAL purpose of this blog. I hoep we go out and pound SF. They are is disarray offensively and just lost their OC. We should do great but we cant overlook them. They are mad and hungry. This will be a stiff test whether you beleive it or not. If Ground and Pound gets going this weeek though….those gold diggers are in for a LONG day!

Bush is the one who got us into this mess, Obama’s only trying to clean it up.
Those are FACTS. Check unemployment rates and everything else – you’ll see they were already on the rise under Bush.
Remember when he said: “We’re not in a recession.” – That’s why it got so bad, he was to bull-headed and ignorant to fix it at the time.

Now, GO FALCONS.
