Falcons to sport their throwback jerseys vs. 49ers
FLOWERY BRANCH – Since the Falcons and the 49ers used to be division foes in the old NFC West, it makes perfect sense that they break out the throwback jerseys for the first time this season at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The Falcons will wear the 1966 throwback uniforms. The Falcons were 2-0 when they wore their throwback uniforms in 2009.
The Falcons defeated Carolina 28-20 on Sept. 20 and Tampa Bay 20-17 on Nov. 29. Both games were played at the Georgia Dome.

It will be neat seeing this really good Falcon team wearing the 66 uniform. In 66….the Falcons were not very good but it was there 1st year.
I would really like to see them wear the 1980 uniform…that would be really cool.
