Love it! Jason Snelling is shaping into a great running back for the Falcons. I love the way he plays the game, a smart and tough kid who has got the skills! Congrats on the award, Jason, and keep up the good work. Let’s win the NFC South!

This cat can play FOOTBALL . . . I liked him when he first came to the Falcons and often wondered why he wasn’t being used. POWER, SPEED and elusiveness in the open field. It’s finally been recognized he’s a competent NFL replacement for Turner. I think Norwood is too fragile for the game. Snelling can block too!! GO BIG MAN . . . GO FALCONS!

Awesome. Well earned. We are lucky he has come on so strong the past two years with Turner and Norwood’s injury issues. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Man Joe Tess give it up. Ryan played great. He didn’t have an interception and he threw for 3 touchowns. The score was 41-7. Nuff said.

Give it a rest

look at the recievers that the eagles and texans have. give matt ryan someone who can stretch the field like deshaun jackson and he would put up higher yardage totals. Not that we need it though when turner and snelling are shredding people. I’ll take 3tds and no ints, with a good running game anyday.

I’ve been saying for months the Falcons should of have signed TO……Ryan needs help. I’m not trashing him……Just sayin they already had good QBs on the rooster and they let them get away….

Every time Snelling has had a chance to play, he has shown to be a tough player. Hope he gets more chances to play and contribute.

Hey Falcon Jim…..Pay attention. I am not trashing Ryan. I am just pointing out Flacons had Vick and Schaub before Ryan and they let them get away.

What is the word on Turner? How badly is he hurt? Any chance that Turner does not play this weekend with a “mild groin” injury (is that like “slightly pregnant” for a running back?) as you have Snelling ready to go?

I’m voting for Snelling ’cause I’m a Falcons homer but LeSean McCoy had the better game–120yds on 16 carries and 3 TDs made Vick look better than he was….

Another vote here for Snelling. Always did like him, but I hope they don’t wear him out like they did Turner. Any outstanding backs available for the #3 slot?
Watching the tape of the game again, I can’t be sure if Ryan is just not really accurate, or if he is throwing to a spot and the receivers are not there, particularly the over- and under-throws. Hmm.

Nice stats for McCoy but he got most of the 120 on one run. Snelling got his while inflicting damage on the AZ defense.

My vote is for Snelling.

Snelling should be the starter this week. Period. Turner needs to rest that groin on the bench and see how it’s done.

Use Snelling he proved how good he was last year when Turner went down. Snelling is a # 1 or 2 running back.It was great the falcons signed him other wise he would start for someone else. Norwood is not your special team man (kickoff, punt return) Weems and Douglas are your best special team players. Use Weems and Douglas More on passing plays, these to guys will make the falcons offense great. Jenkins maybe trade bait. Run the ball hard with Turner and Snelling. Snelling is a great pass catcher and blocker, so is Turner these two guys catching balls when you make defenses matchup will burst games wide open.

El Magnifico!

I have three Michael Vick jerseys (Falcon jerseys). I hope he has gotten help and becomes a better person and I have forgiven him for betraying his fans, but I have not forgotten what he did. I do not want him to play for the Falcons ever again. I do not care what he does on the football field, good or bad. It killed me to explain to my kids that their football hero was a dog killer.

Joe Tess Fish House – as for Shaub, he had a great game, but his team needed that from him. Think of it this way – he HAD to pass for almost 500 yards for them to win. Ryan didn’t need to pass for 400 yards, so he didn’t. Also, we let go of Shaub because we thought we had the franchise QB in Vick. No NFL team can afford to keep two starters on their team. Want evidence? The minute Vick has a great game, the trade talks for Kolb started (and are continuing).

As for Vick – we didn’t “let him get away”. Seems to me, he spent some time in prison for brutally murdering defenseless animals. I’m glad he’s paid his debt to society and has gotten a second chance, but I like the character/integrity of Ryan and he’s got all the skills to be a franchise QB for a long time.

To everyone else – I realize it’s wasted breath, but I’m sick of people conveniently forgetting the history of these QBs and treating our Falcons like they’re clueless about these matters.

Please, folks, enough with the Vick; we have a great young QB in Ryan. Let’s support him and the rest of our Falcons. The best is yet to come! Go Birds! Oh, yeah, Snelling gets my vote–great game!

The Aints had a tough game and have a short week. Meanwhile, the Falcons had an easy game and a full week. We will get the upset as long as the refs don’t take it from us like they did the Vikings in the Championship game.
