Defensive end John Abraham was not in attendance at the open organized team activity session last Wednesday.

Falcons head coach Mike Smith noted that the sessions are voluntary and that he knew where Abraham was.

In the past, Abraham has seen specialists in the offseason to work on his core area with the hopes of preventing those troubling hamstring injuries.

But you all want Abraham in attendance. In a recent poll, you were asked:

Should veteran defensive end John Abraham be in attendance for all of the “Voluntary” OTAs?

  • Yes, he needs to set an example for the young players. (69%, 680 Votes)
  • No, they are voluntary and he knows what to do already. (31%, 305 Votes)

Total Voters: 985
