Falcons linebacker Mike Peterson will hold his youth football game on Saturday at Tri-Cities High. Registration for the camp is full.

If you didn’t get into Mike Pete’s game, you can still register for the fourth annual DTLR Football Clinic that starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Decatur High School.

Falcons Chauncey Davis and Jonathan Babineaux and Daniel Wilcox, an Atlanta native formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, will help to host the game that’s slated to handle 300 kids.

There will also be a recruting seminar for the parents.

“DTLR realizes sports is often time the dreams of many urban youth,” said DTLR Community Outreach Manager Sherri Goodall in a statement. “We want to help them reach their goals; so, we have partnered with several outstanding football players to help them increase their skills on the field. It only makes sense to bring sports, professional athletes and DTLR’s community efforts together in a way benefits everyone involved.”

Camp participants will perform agility drills, offensive and defensive fundamentals broken down by position and seven-on-seven passing drills.

“This camp offers students a unique hands-on training experience that will expose them to the same techniques and drills I used in college and that I continue to use today in the NFL,” Davis said. “It remains a priority for me and m foundation to give back and make a positive impact in the lives of young people.”

DLed: Mike Peterson is having a football camp at Tri-Cities High School in East Point on Saturday, June 12 AND Chauncey Davis and Jonathan Babineaux are teaming up for a football camp at Decatur High School also on Saturday, June 12.

Hiram—-No, you don’t! The only thing that would be settled is your estate. You think you’re funny but I think you’ve shown yourself to be a young and moronic. I said my niece should respond to you, so that you were on an even playing field with someone. That isn’t offering her up, as you suggested, or using her as a shield for anyone other then you. It’s sad that I have to keep explaining it to you. And if some other fool wants to “side” with you because I said that what you were suggesting was disgusting then you’re both fools, at best, and perverts, at worst. I wouldn’t exactly give myself kudos, like you do, for calling an end to a conversation that showed just how mentally ill you are. It doesn’t matter how you try to defend your actions! That fact that you would make such a hideous suggestion is indefensible! You and that other idiot should be ashamed of yourselves! We both know that the only reason you asked to stop that part of the conversation was because you knew you had gone too far and let too much of your true “character” show. So, you can take that apology and shove straight up where your head normally resides! There is no excuse for what you said!

Hiram—-If you want to argue about football then I’m all for it. Yes, the Saints have won 7 of 8 against the Falcons. Included in that statistic are a year of Jim Mora Jr and Bobby Petrino. Still though, the Saints have beaten Matt Ryan 2 out of 3. Yes, these things are all very true and would even come in handy if either team had done nothing to improve. For the Saints all they’ve done is lose quite a bit of their depth and two defensive starters from last years Super Bowl winning team. And what have theFalcons done you ask? Put simply, as I know I must do for you, the Falcons have improved in all facets of the game.
On offense, the return to health of Matt Ryan, Micheal Turner, Harvey Dahl, Harry Douglas, Sam Baker and Jerious Norwood gives an instant on field upgrade to the team the Saints barely defeated 26-23 last season. But the Falcons drafted for depth along the offensive line and added more depth in the backfield in case injuries occur again. Considering the Falcons have been working on their deep passing game that means Harry Douglas and Jerious Norwood will see more action and bring more explosion to their game. Explosive is exactly how I would describe the Saints offense. Factored together I would say the offenses are even; though the Falcons now have more depth on the O-line.
Defensively, the Falcons have improved a great deal, in the off season. They’ll have Peria Jerry and William Moore back from injury. We can debate the merits of those two if you’d like but I assure you that you won’t appreciate the education. The Falcons also signed Dunta Robinson, who was the best available free agent corner on the market. They also brought back Brian Wilson. If you watch the defense play the first two weeks, of last season, you’d see a defense that was taking the ball away and getting to the quarterback. But it doesn’t end there. The front office also selected Sean Weatherspoon and Corey Peters. Peters should be a depth player this year and a future starter. Weatherspoon should be the starting linebacker, at least against pass heavy teams, early in the season. He was a great defender against the pass in collage and like he won’t have a drop off in the pros. And what did the Saints do? They got Alex Brown and his 6.5 sacks from Chicago. Sure they lost most of their depth and two starters but they have Brown. Like I’ve been trying to tell you for the last week, or so, the Saints have not improved, while the Falcons have improved a great deal.
In summary, though it is true the Saints have found a great deal of success against the Falcons recently, all trends change. I expect the two teams to split their series; with the Saints taking the early season meeting and the Falcons taking the one late. However, when they meet in the playoffs, I would expect the superior depth and talent on the Atlanta team to prevail!

The fact that my firm moved me from Bufalo to Missouri probably wouldn’t mean a whole lot to you since you don’t know what a firm is or what a job is for that matter!
