I hope he doesn’t look too good because Bobby Cox doesn’t let talent get away from him.

Great. Here comes the “freak” accident and he tears his rotator cuff trying to throw a screwball or something. My God, why did I think that?

What would possess a fan from a different city to go to a blog full of fans who dislike his home team? Hint, hint, hiramsaint? Did they kick you out down there?

i woundnt count the panther or the bucs out of the division race either pal. i dont lose any pride over saying its a tough division and any team can take it. i just have the opinion that my dirty birds are ready for the next step, be it a bias one at that. the saints are a good team but they got really lucky last year on top of the talent they had. the falcons, on the other hand, were very unlucky and that can make all the difference in the world man.

with the # 1, offense, #6 rushing, 2nd in take a ways,1st in def td’s , 2nd in redzone def, 1st int return yds. hardly sounds like luck . sound more like a complete team with more weapons than the falcons can handle. luck has nothing to do with it, rather coaching can make all the difference and y’all don’t have one yet. i never rule out div. opponents but the way i see it , like most other people outside of atl., the saints and the panthers will be leading the way in the nfc south and matty slush will watch the playoffs from his sofa again after another WINNING SEASON OF 8-8 OR 9-7!

hiramsaint—-Does the number 25 mean anything to you? That’s the Saints overall defensive ranking. What about 3 out of 4? That mean that three out of the last four seasons the Saints have lead the league in yards from scrimmage. 1 out of 3? That is, 1 winning season out of the last 3. What about 0? That’s right, 0 is the chance the Saints repeat. Last year everything broke right for the Saints and the defense, at times, played well above their normal level, the farce that is usually the Aints running game showed up and Drew Brees played his heart out. Basically, everything went their way! Now, let’s look at some other numbers. 9-7 The Falcons record last year. 20-12, Coach Mike Smith’s record as a head coach; I will point out that he has a higher winning percentage then one Sean Peyton. Can I also point out that at 19-10 Matt Ryan has a higher win percentage then Drew Brees? This is my favorite number of all 102. That is the number of games missed by Falcon starters last year! With that the Saints barely pulled off two wins. Do you think that many Falcons are going to go down this year? How long do you think the Saints can defy their History and turn back into losers again? How long until your runningbacks return to street walking levels? How long until Drew Brees gets hurt again? How long will you continue to misrepresent the Falcons record? It was 11-5 and 9-7 the last two seasons.
It’s also funny that you are picking the Panthers as your nhumber 2 in the division. The team with lameduck coach John Fox, carreer backup QB Matt Moore starting, an aging defense (Kind of like the Saints) that lost it’s best player, and had Steve Smith ask to be moved down to a number 2 role in the offense. Yeah, you definitely have your facts straight about the division!

Hiramsaint—-Doesn’t Sean Peyton have some drugs to steal? And isn’t Brees late for his next photo op? The Saints kind of resemble a team that isn’t used to winning!

numbers , numbers and more numbers. with smitty’s and ryan outstanding numbers y’all have compiled an 0-1 playoff record while with the saints dismal numbers we’ve owned the falcons and have a lombardi trophy. and as a falcons fan you would be the authority on knowing a team thats not used to winning. here’s another number-80.9 passer rating= 72 million. how does a couple of players miss 102 games in a 16 game season. on the other hand our season was a bit longer

Hiram—-I can understand you desperate need to cling to the one time the Saints did anything. Yeah, good job on winning the Super Bowl. It’s an outstanding accomplishment. But look at the one non-stop distraction your offseason has brought. You have the drug scandal Sean “Puffy” Peyton was involved in, the Darren Sharper situation and Drew Brees looking like football is the last thing on his mind. It all adds up to a down year for the Aints! Did you also know it took Brees 9 years to win 3 playoff games? Do you really want to compare Matt Ryans numbers to Drew Brees’ numbers over their first two years? I’ll give you a hint. It’s not even close! Matt Rtyan blows him away.

284- talk ryan 7 years from now- he’ll be with another team ’cause the falcons won’t pay him and he won’t be worth the money on his contract. more than likely he’ll be good enuf to be a quality back-up but not a HOF qb like y’all think.

hiramsaint let me get what your saying, your saying matt ryan wont be with the falcons because we wont pay him, let me give you a little history lesson…lets see there was archie manning, he was a super bowl quarterback but had no defense to back him up, the saints had to be the only team to put up 40 points and lose a game consistently. it took 34 years to finally win a division title. There was another star named ricky williams, good job letting him go. and the amazing coaches the saints had, jim mora, mike ditka. i know the saints won the super bowl this year but big deal! tallk is cheap on internet blogs, we’ll see if the saints can beat minnesota again. you are not a good fan if another guy talks bad about a team.
