“A little bit of every thing,” Weatherspoon said. “I listen to everything from the Kings of Leon to 50 Cent, to Kanye West, Young Jeezy, T.I. I even have a little bit of Carrie Underwood on the iPod. I’m pretty versatile when it comes to that.”
A ride is Spoon’s car can be a musical experience.
“A lot of my friends look at me kind of weird when they get in my car,” Weatherspoon said. “They may hear a Miley Cyrus song come on. You just never know what you’re going to get out of my iPod.”
You can bet that the veterans are going to have some fun with Weatherspoon in training camp. He grew up singing in he church choir and he’ll have the Missouri fight song ready to sing.
“I’ve lead a bunch of (songs),” Weatherspoon said. “Like Mary Mary’s ‘Just can’t give up now.‘ I think a lot of the old people call it ‘No ways tired.’ I was very active in the church. My mom always made sure we were in church and at Sunday school.”

Spoon you’re not alone my friend,I have a very diverse taste in music as well. I was jamming “House of the Rising Sun” by the animals last night during the playoffs and my homie was like wtf is that. I told the man to expand his musical taste …………….Never mind all of this -im waitng for the sweet music of August-pads cracking and Helmets banging..Letz do Go Birds 2010 NFC South Champs!!!!

Made a cd last week that included George Strait (Troubadour……wow!!), NWA, Young Jeezy, Miley Cyrus, Sade, Def Leppard, Babyface….etc.True music lovers have a diverse taste. Alot of the time, it’s not about what you can directly relate to, it’s merely appreciating the art of it…..and feeding your senses.

D-Led: Question for ya…I love the Spoon pickup by the Falcons. Jury is still out on the KY DE for me but he was solid in the SEC.
My question is what’s your personal opinion on the defense this year? Massive improvements, especially with Dunta signed? Moderate improvement? I think we can all agree they’ll be better but by how much? And better how? More TO’s, more 3 and outs, more sacks, more picks???
